She wears a long flowing dress which is gathered at her waist. Creating a beautiful cascade of creases. Her body is slender yet shapely and she embodies an innocent beauty. She carries the jug with both hands over her shoulder most likely due to the fact that the jug is full and heavy. She walks with determination. Her face is distinguished and calm. This brown patina was cast using the"lost wax method. She is mounted on a black marble base and is signed Milo. The process of bringing a bronze sculpture to life using the lost-wax method is something you'll appreciate after taking this tour- Enjoy. Here Artist original clay sculpture is nearly ready for the foundry. Note the artist is still adding the finishing touches. Most sculptors prefer to work with clay or wax; some however.
