Teapot, milk or cream pitcher, and covered sugar bowl. From a good quality continental European maker. Probably Italian in origin. But possibly Swiss or German. Made between 1910 and 1930. Classic lobed form. Raised on a lobed pedestal. Softly domed and fluted covers. Topped with matching lobed finial. Completely hand hammered with exceptional craftsmanship. The hand hammer marks are visible over the entirety of every piece. Just fabulous, meticulous hand craftsmanship Sturdy. Carved wood handles in scroll form, typical of classic Italian work. Elegant gold wash on the interior of the cream pitcher and sugar bowl. Never monogrammed. The sterling silver tea service is very generously sized and has a thick. Heavy gauge silver construction. The entire four piece set weighs 101 ounces. This is more than twice as much as some 4 piece tea sets. The coffee pot is 9 1/2 inches tall. 9 1/2 inches from handle to spout. Weighs 34 ounces. The teapot is 9 inches tall. 11 1/2 inches from handle to spout. Weighs 33 ounces. The creamer is 6 3/4 inches tall. 8 inches handle to spout. Weighs 16 ounces.
