We have decided to move& won't have room for it in our new home. It looks really nice. I cleaned it with lemon oil, then I finished it all over with Danish oil. It has really neat shadowing in the slots where the print tiles must have been setting for years. There are some hand written letters on some of the slots. It has the metal on the drawer front& 2 silver metal bars on the sides, these frame it very nicely, but also make it quite heavy. Boxed it weights 10 LBS. Great vintage condition. This auction is for a Antique Hamilton Letterpress Printers Tray Drawer Shadow Box Handle It measures about 32" long x 16 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" deep It has 54 compartments of varied sizes Nice condition for age. Does show expected wear.Some discoloration. A few splits in wood dividers& I believe one missing divider. Handle shows some surface rust. This drawer will need a bit of TLC. Antique Letterpress Printers TYPE TRAY w/ BRASS Reinforcements & Hamilton handle
This Special antique type tray for sale is in great condition and has a special rare feature consisting of Brass reenforcements on every corner slot of the tray. Its measurements are 32" wide x 16 5/8" tall and each slot is 1" inch deep. It has a beautiful industrial looking Hamilton handle attached. Besides the brass reinforcements the rest of the tray is wood except the side that the handle is attached to which is metal. This will add to a beautiful rustic decor by itself as well as a charming display for various collections of things. Antique Hamilton Printers Typeset 89 spaces Wooden Drawer Tray 31 1/4 "X 16 1/2"
This is a beautiful old Hamilton Type-Set Drawer. It measures approx 16 1/2 inches by 31 1/4 inches. The handle is black metal marked"Hamilton" The end of the drawer is metal and a lovely army green. There are 89 spaces in this drawer in varying sizes. Would be great to store your needles. Bobbins and thread! This drawer has a tiny knick spot in the wood(see pictures) Can easily be smoothed out with a touch of sandpaper. I have more of these drawers. I did not clean any of these drawers. Just left them the way they were when I found them. They still had little metal type-set letters in them! Their new owner can clean them as per their favorite method. Vintage Hamilton Wooden Printers Letterpress Shadow Box 73 Slots Tray Drawer. The size is approximately 32 1/8" wide x 16 5/8" deep x 1 1/2" tall. This is a wooden construction with a cast metal handle. On the front of the handle it says Hamilton. There are 73 slots. It appears some of the slots were taken out to make a larger area in some spots. At one time someone had felt on the border. There is some residue on the top edges of the drawer that could be scraped off. This would be ideal for displaying knick knacks.

Two Vintage Small Divided Hamilton Wood Printers Type Drawers,Tray
This is an offering of a pair of small Hamilton Manufacturing Co. trays that were made for holding printers lead type. They each measure 15" long by 7 3/8" wide. Both are stamped on the back with the company name and Two Rivers. Wisc. They both have a brass loop handle on one end and are finger jointed at all the outside corners. They both have been used as hanging shadow boxes and have screw eyes and wire on the back.

From a M id S outh E state.this rare small size HAMILTON Printers Typeset Drawer Tray. Measures 16 3/4" length x 10 1/2" width x 1 1/2" depth. Has 30 individual divided slots/ spaces in varying sizes ranging from the smallest 1 5/8" x 1 1/8" to the largest at 4 1/8" x 2 1/4" Made completely of wood with a brass HAMILTON drawer pull. The best info I have from research is that this was probably made in the early 1900's. The wood shows its age and use; the drawer pull shows its corrosion patina. Up for auction is an old HAMILTON wood printers blocks drawer-tray with 89 SLOTS-cubbies. 2/3's in varying sizes. And 1/3 all the same size. It was found at auction so I don't know any history or specific age. It does have the"Hamilton" drawer pull on it. It has a metal strip on both ends. I would describe it as being in good preowned-used vintage condition. Seems solid and sturdy. Typical age spots. Scuffs, scratches associated with an old wood drawer. One corner has some small chips off the wood on the back side. some uneven staining on the sides. The side with the Hamilton pull appears to not have stain. Looks like raw unstained wood but does have some black steaks on it. see photos) Its overall a nice old piece of history with probably multiple uses and lots of life left repurposed as a new cool decorator item. Nice looking vintage Hamilton printers drawer. Just found in original condition in the rafters of an old estate. The metal handle had been covered with a plastic insert tab so it is nice and shiney! One small cubby has a bottom piece that only goes half way back. Don't know if that is a chip or by design. 89 slots. All the display collectables are included. But they are not glued in place so one can decorate the box as they choose. About 32 inches by 16.5 inches. This is truly one of the better looking printer draws you will find. Very good finish and in great vintage shape. Hard to see in the photos. It is stamped HAMILTON MFG. CO. Quite a few of these compartmented knickknacks are actually fairly collectable.
