SIZE: Approx: 23" by 12 1/4" and 1 1/2" high. Old Wooden PRINTER's TYPE SET Drawer. With METAL(Tin? dividers, that are fitted into thin grooves in the wood. THIS IS ORIGINAL. I have seen a few like this, but not many. This is a very unusual structure for printer's drawers. Wooden frame is thick wood. You can take out the thin metal shelves. But most are quite tight, and you may have to really tug to get them out. With a little effort, you can re-arrange them. Some are missing on the one end. No name that I can see. Please view all pictures. CONDITION: Overall. Very good. Strong, Sturdy, all sides secure, some wear, as this was used for its intended purpose, many years ago. Ink stains and wear to the backing on the inside of the compartments, worn paint and small paint chips in areas, and the corners have a few small chips and wear from use and age See all photos for wear conditions There are three slots that are broken. But the pieces fit into each other fine. A little wood glue will restore this tray with little to any notice of repair. Great for Shadow Box) Vintage Type Case Drawer- This drawer is not like mos t type case drawers. It has Brass caps on each joint where the wood dividers meet. See Photo) Drawer is in great shape. Was well taken care of. It was never used very much. Wood joints are all tight and solid. Drawer is all original finish- it has not been repainter or refinished. Drawer has some marks where type had been settings. Drawer size 16 3/4" x 32" Spaces are 2" x 3" and 1 3/8"x 1 3/8" in size, larger then many case drawers. This is the only one like this I have in stock.

Nice estate find-antique printers drawer with 74 slots. The box is in good antique condition. See pic 3-there is an old Art Deco style drawer pull. Behind that is a newer hanging hardware. See pics 10 and 11-a small joint piece is missing in back one one side. See pic 12-the drawer bottom shows age and this pic shows the worst of it.
