Vintage Framed Print - FRA ANGELICO Painting, Angel & Violin - Wood Veneer Matte
Measuring about 3½" x 6" Including the wood veneer frame, this colorful print of an angel playing a lute or violin has a gold background and is captioned"Laudate Dominum! The arched matte looks to be made of real wood veneer, but it's hard to be 100 percent sure- it looks like there was a slight miscut at the very top of the arch. On its back, the kraft paper is mostly missing, but it still has a framer's label that gives an order number and identifies the artist as Italian Renaissance painter Fra Angelico. It also says"The H. L. Co. Indianapolis" but it's unclear whether that's the name of the framer or just the publisher of the label. The frame has small chips in the veneer at all four corners. Ornate gilded gold wooden frame with what appears to be hand painted roses on a satin cloth surrounding the House Prayer. It is difficult to tell without removing the backing although it certainly looks like cloth as I look through a magnifying glass and see woven texture. The front covering sounds like plexiglass and I do not see any damage on it at all. Wooden frame is in very good condition with small flaws noticeable when up very close only. A bracket will need to be added to the backing for wall hanging. Vintage Metal Framed Print " Sacred Heart of Mary" Lights Up
This is very old vintage. Mabey antique metal framed print of"Sacred Heart of Mary" I am not sure what type of metal the frame is, could be brass. As you can see there is discoloration on the frame. What is shown in the photos cover the entire frame. But it still has a nice gold tone. Stands out brightly. The print is covered with a plastic film surrounded by silver metal. I did remove and gently clean and the print is totally whole, no tears. The light works well as shown. But as a seller. I will not be responsible for any defects in the wiring or components as this is an older piece. Buyer please be aware. The frame measures 14 1/4" Tall x by 13" across. It has an 1 1/2" depth. VINTAGE/ANTIQUE FRAMED HOLY FAMILY ART WORK Picture measures approximately 30 x 13 inches in size. 34 x 16 1/2 with frame and glass. Art work depicts Jesus. Mary and Joseph as a family unit, all with halos, in a rural setting. I can see no artist's name, but I have never had the back opened or the artwork removed from the frame, so I do not know if there is any. Back is wood with a wire for hanging. One of the eyes that hold the wire has been forcefully pulled out of the frame and will need to be glued back in to hold it. Frame is a gray and gold, in fairly good condition, with some minor dings on edges. Glass is clear with no flaws or cracks. I purchased this piece at auction nearly 40 years ago. And have no idea of what it's actual age is, although I have seen some like it many years prior to that and always wanted one. Ornate floral and bow gesso edging details, Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane on Rock print and wire on back for wall mounting. The frame measures 21.5" wide and 13.5" tall. The inside opening for the print measures just over 19.25" wide and 11.25" tall. I'm not sure the age of this piece but it appears to be old. It does have a bit of wear at the bottom of the frame(see last photo) I don't think it distracts from the beauty of this piece as it has so much wonderful character! Antique Vintage First Holy Communion Certificate 1917 Framed Boston
You are bidding on a frame vintage First Holy Communion certificate from 1917. It was issued from Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Boston. MA. The print is in fairly good condition. There is some warping of the print and some dust and dirt has gotten under the glass and while most seems to be on the glass. Some is on the certificate. There are some crinkles in the certificate. We found this beautiful picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at an estate sale. The size is 18 ½” h x 15 ½” w. The colors are still very good. The frame overall is still in very good vintage condition. There are a few small spots where there are finish issues and 2 of the corner joints– upper left& lower right– are a little wider than they should be but nothing is very noticeable. The frame is still very solid. The paper on the back is ripped. The number 4217 is printed on the back. Chirst/Jesus Walking on the Waters - Vintage Print - Framed 21x17
Up for sale is a vintage(possibly approaching antique) print titled"Christ Walking on the Waters" I don't usually buy a lot of religious pictures due to the volume produced of most prints. However. Occasionally I run across a piece which catches my eye more than others, is difficult to find information about, and in need of preservation. In this case, I found no references anywhere for this print, which has the text: 2334 Christ Walks on the Waters" in the lower l/h corner. And" Made in USA" in the lower r/h corner. I was able to find where someone was producing puzzles and phone cases(on Zazzle. I think) and referenced a vintage print as the source, but nothing about the print, manufacturer, or year after literally hours of searching. When I found this some time back. The reverse was falling apart so I immediately ... moreput a few modern frame points around the reverse to keep it from damaging the print any further until I could work taking some preservation steps. Sadly, there are quite a few small chips missing around the outer edges of the print, and there's a few scuffs within the print, but amazingly no rips, tears, or bends. The image of Christ himself walking on the water is wonderfully sharp. But, I do want to point out, even when framed, you can see three small chips on the r/h side, one in the immediate lower corner, one each at about 2" 8" above the lower r/h corner, and there a scuff just inside to the left of the third, plus another scuff about 16" up and 1.5" in. Lastly, there is also a small water stain which can be seen on the reverse, but is not readily visible from the front within the darker waters. In all honesty. When this print is hanging on the wall, these flaws are not what you notice when looking at this artwork, but they are there and deserve mention. As regards the frame. There is an area of repair about 12" up from the bottom on the l/h side, but as well, it's not very noticeable when presented. I did give consideration to trimmin

Here is fascinating vintage Christianity related religious picture. I don't know what to call this if it would be a kind of a rough texture but not really a painting so not quite sure what to call it. This is framed which is ok. In the frame some wear and scuffs. But this is about 21 inches long and 17 inches high. I do see little wear on picture and few tiny scuffs or scrapes kind of tiny bare spots, but this shows quite well. Some scuffs or lightening above disciples head on left but not bad for old picture. There is not glass or anything. This is Christ at the Last Super and came out of a estate so not sure if this is antique or vintage. Not paper on back, but seems to be in decent shape. I have never had this apart. Of uncertain date or origin as there are no identifying marks anywhere on. The print or the frame. The style of the representation of St. Therese looks. To me to be similar to those of the pre-World War II era when the popularity. Of the Little Flower spread rapidly after her Canonization in 1925 and the. Saint received the honor of being named Co-Patron of the Missions in 1927. The frame and glass are very solid. The glass is clean and smooth. A very fine scratch exists on the glass along St. Therese's right shoulder and a few. Very mild blotches occur on the surface of the glass. These are only visible. From certain angles and upon very close inspection. Once found. If ... morethe frame. Is tilted ever so slightly left or right. These disappear again. The image of St. Therese is bright and vibrant and appears to have retained its colors without any fading. A few tiny blemishes appear to be either on the picture itself or. On the inside surface of the glass. The frame is quite lovely with a gold layer. Around the image itself and some nice floral detail on the outer edges of the. Frame. The frame has considerable scuffing throughout and certainly shows. The patina of a fairly advanced age. Overall the piece presents well and is beautiful. Solid and well-held together.
