Antique Maytag Washer Wringer Rollers Safety Release original 12" rollers K1251?
Up for bid is an Antique Maytag Wringer Washer set of rollers. Complete with the safety release. Engaging lever and the original stamped Maytag rollers. Overall 21-1/2 inches wide 12 inches high and 7 inches thick. Rollers are 11-3/4 inches long and 2-1/2 inches thick. Rollers are in good condition-not all chewed up or falling apart. The post is 1-1/4 inch diameter. I don't have any idea what years or models this goes to. The only identifying marks I found were"K1251" and a"4" under that. I assume these are casting numbers for the original parts they were made from. Overall pretty good shape. Please email any questions and THANKS! P.S. It weighs about 50 pounds so shipping is on me. Vintage Original MAYTAG Wringer Washer Instruction Booklet Models E2 J2 N2
As a child(I'm now in my late 60's) I remember my mother using a Maytag wringer washer down in the basement. This 21 page 5"x 8" booklet accompanied the washer and was stored on a nearby shelf. You can see from the pictures that it was often used and although stained, the pages are intact, complete, and readable. There is a small tear on the back cover.please look at the photos. The pictures show the stains which are primarily at the front and back. Reading the booklet is a step back in history.not only in how to use the wringer washer. But in the other laundry tasks of bluing, tinting, and starching. It further explains how to oil the casters and put petroleum jelly on the agitator drive shaft. In reading the instructions, one can certainly appreciate modern appliances! I ship very promptly when payment has been made.

But no later than 1960, as I can remember my grandmother using it when I was a child. I do not know how long she had owned it up to that time. The model number is E2LPS, and the serial number is 254210 ZM. It has not been used for years. I plugged it in and it agitates and the wringer portion turns. This oil can is in great physical shape with no dents or dings only outer paint wear. The M for Maytag is still present and seen. These old oilers came with your Wringer Washer for in those days they were run by a kerosine gas hit and miss engine! Good Luck!

Vintage Miniature Maytag Wringer Washer. Made of heavy metal. Possibly cast iron. It stands approximately 7 1/4" high with the wringer in place, and 4" by 4" The wringer crank turns the wringer rollers. And the whole wringer mechanism is removable. The agitator inside is also removable and has 1694 and 6(or 9) stamped on it. There are also some numbers on the bottom of the washer stand. The lid is missing. As is the hose. I see these washers advertised as made by Hubley though I do not see a makers name on it. The washers were made for either dealer display or salesman samples and makes a really great laundry room display. Coca-Cola can not included and is for size reference only) Thank you for looking.
