Beautiful mixed-metal. Solid not plated, combination of nickel and silver(according to my jeweler) pair of what I believe are Chinese cup rests or holders. As shown in the photos, they have a pierced design on two sides. They also have dragon designs engraved onto each of the other two interior sides.These engraved designs are a bit difficult to photograph since they are somewhat worn with age but they are at least partially visible in the photos. You are viewing an interesting silver pipe. It is decorated with a 4-toed dragon with deer-like antlers coming from its head which may indicate that this is a Korean pipe rather than a Chinese pipe. I'm not sure. From the wear. Corrosion, and handling damage, I would estimate it was made some time in the second half of the 19th century or the first half of the 20th century. It appears to be made from a'native grade' silver alloy; probably around.700 to.800 pure. It is not silver plated. But a solid silver alloy. It measures approximately 18.5 inches in length or approximately 46 centimeters. It is in reasonably good condition with some dents and wear as well as possibly a chain missing from one of the rings in the middle of the pipe.
