Antique Sterling Silver& Blue Glass Lined Hinged Top Mustard Pot from Birmingham dated 1937 This Antique Mustard Pot measures approximately 2 3/4 inches or 7 0 mm across its length from the handle to the front of the body by 1 1/ 2 inches or 39 mm across the width of its body from side to side and it stands 1 7/8 inches or 4 8 mm tall to the top of the finial on its lid when closed. The mustard pot is made from a sterling silver body in a slightly bulbous oval shape that has an externally rolled raised upper rim and it stands on a relief step decorated oval base. The mustard pot has a shaped handle with a three section piano hinged step decorated lid that has a decorative finial on the top and it is complete with its original internal Bristol blue glass liner or mustard reservoir, the mustard pot has Not been engraved with a previous ... moreowners initials or family monogram all as photographed below and it has been impressed with English sterling silver hallmarks that read as follows, W.N Ltd- Anchor- Lion Passant- N W.N Ltd is the Birmingham silversmith or makers mark of William Neale& Son Ltd. No Splits, No Cracks, No Holes and No Repairs that I can find, the mustard pot stands straight, the definition and decoration is very crisp, the hinge is working, the lid opens and closes with ease, the silver hallmarks are still clearly legible, the internal glass liner is in mint condition with no chips and no cracks although as the mustard pot is a used antique there is a small amount of play or wear in the hinge as the lid moves slightly from side to side and the mustard pot does have some shallow dents in its body and lid, it has some extremely minor surface marks and wear from use along with the patina of age that is to be expected and a

This listing is for a beautiful display case. This is ebony black enamel with gold accents and a hinged framed glass top. I nside th ere are four 8" X 10" trays with compartments. Each tray has a little golden handle to easily lift the trays out an d remov e. Eac h square compartment in the trays has a felt pad with a ribbon tab to easily retrieve whatever tiny trinket you de cide to display in them. This case was used to sell fine lampwork beads and jewelry comp onents befor e we got it. There a re little price tag stickers with images of beads and findings on the compartments. See pictures. You would just need to peel them off. Two of the trays have thirty 1 and 3/8" square compartments. The other two have three 3" square compartments and eighteen 1 and 3/8" sq uare compartments. 1850s violin case beautifully hand made american chestnut top coffin shaped. Brass handle, brass latches,brass hinges,wood on the side of the case was noched in order to bend the wood to its beautiful shape all done by hand. the interior of the case is lined with(MOHAIR] I think. The small compartment has a door on it from a vintage cigar box(WHITE ELEPHANT) brand cigars. this piece is so cool, there is a picture of a lady in the nude smoking a cigar all hand colored on the side of the compartment. what a wonderful piece of american history. the one end of the case needs to be glued together and clamped. good luck bidding.

Egyptian Jewelry Box with Great Detailing Arched Top Lined Inside Here is a nice vintage Egyptian jewelry box for your buying consideration. This piece came from an estate sale of a collector whom had a number of Egyptian pieces and then clocks and musical boxes that I will be offering you. Very nicely done jewelry box here. Check out the great looking arched top on this jewelry box. The whole case is made of metal. I have no idea of what kind of metal. The raised detailing on the box is just beautiful. Copper and silver coloring to the finish. Not sure if that is applied afterwards or the metal looks like that to start. There are no maker marks of any sort on the piece that I can ascertain. No major dings or dents to the jewelry case that I can see. All I did was wipe the dust off of the piece. No cleaning done at all. Check out the great ... moremetal leg detailing on this jewelry case as well. Trim along the perimeters of the lid and base appears to be brass. There is a blue lined suede tray that comes out of the case and then the inside and the top of the case are lined with the same blue suede. The removable tray is a little snug in the case. When Mr. Michael Tobias Built this 5 string Bass in Kingston New York He said it had'really good Snap and Pop' and it truely does. Even when popped hard the sound stays clean. The neck is asymetrical and very easy to play. The strings and frets are spaced just right, seldom even when played very fast is a note fouled. The Bass is very versatile. I have the strings set a little high and it thumbs slaps great. The intonations are near perfect. The Bass features a 35in. scale 24 fret Ebony lined Fretless Fingerboard. The Ebony is two toned both light and Dark. The Fingerboard doesn't have any scuffs. I have used flat wound strings only. The body and neck are Ash. The back side of the Body is nicely grained. It has a Redwood Top that is swirled zebra almost birdseye. The Bass is very light 8.3 lbs. with shouder strap. Its is easy ... moreon the shoulder standing or comfortable in your lap sitting. The Electronics are built by Bill Bartolini. They are in excellent shape not showing any wear or corrosion. The Low/ Mid/ High and Blend controls are very reliable and allow you to dial in the sound you want. The Guitar is a Hot Dogger and has been well taken care of. It has been kept suspended in its case in a cool room. The bass hasn't been overused and is like new. The Bass comes with a new set of Pyramid Gold Flat wound Strings and its original case.

I do not know for sure the age of this quilt top or the material but I think soft polyester some of it feels like silk. and cottons.the backing is cotton.3 sides around the backing has a 2 inch blue rose flowered strip and looks like what would be the top of the back has a 2 inch blue striped strip.8 backing blocks have been pieced together to make a block.there are some wear spots to the fabric backing.there are 35 blocks to this quilt.over 200 of those little triangle edge pieces.a lot of work here.the quilt top has some places where it has pulled apart at seams(see last photo)hand sewn by hand with needle and thread.measures 65x90 inches.have not laundered. does not have a bad smell only slight odor from being stored all these years.I saw 1 tiny hole in the top.please ask any questions you may have.payment is due within 4 days of auction ... moreend.thanks for looking!
