Full size bow. a tad over 28 inches long. This bow is pernambuco and has a full silver mounted frog. Is probably a French bow made around the 1910 or 1920 era according to a bow expert. The wood is good quality old seasoned wood and is stiff. Superior round stick in great condition. Will make a good playing bow and should produce seasoned tones. The frog is in good condition. Many more good violin bows on martinswanviolins.com! This is a fine silver-mounted German bow by Edwin Otto Hermmann from around 1930. Stamped by the maker and bearing the Herrmann crest on the frog. The stick is of round section lightish brown pernambuco with a slight figure- mounts are ebony and silver with a two-part heel plate and a pinned adjuster. The condition is very good. With no issues to report. The spring and camber are good and the bow has been recently rehaired. It's a smooth, strong player with a big sound for its weight- the tone is clean and bright with plenty of body. Length 74.5cm. Weight 58 grams(with tinsel lapping) the current balance point is around 26.5cm, though this is a rather unhelpful measurement! JOSEF RICHTER old violin bow for Restoration. Silver Mounted Frog Pernambuco
Nice Quality Full size(Exactly 29 3/16 inches long) old Violin bow. Bow is made from great Pernambuco that is stiff and will be strong even though the stick is dainty thickness wise. The bow is stamped JOSEF RICHTER. Stick is good condition. Head needs a new ivory lining. It weighs 49.7 grams without hair and wrapping. Will probably be about 57 grams or so once rehaired. The Frog is silver mounted and has a crest on it. This bow will be well worth the effort. Shipping is $12 in a tube to USA. Overseas is $22. Hello, Listed for auction is a 4/4 size violin bow bearing a maker's stamp. The stamp can be seen just above the frog and before the sterling screw; it reads D. Wenzel David Wenzel is a well documented Bowmaker known for the quality of his materials and his craftsmanship; came to prominence 1930- Germany. The sterling screw spins smoothly and effortlessly. I can certify that the button is silver. A luthier confirmed that the tongue on the frog is also sterling silver. The dark chocolate colored stick has been freshly re-haired and is very supple with professional action from frog to tip. As you can see in the photos. The ebony frog is inlaid with a unique pearl decoration. It appears to be a large eye. Centered by a cross, perhaps suggesting some religious significance. The bow is finished with a faux whalebone lapping. And what appears ... moreto be very nice lizard leather. The bow is quite old and shows obvious signs of professional use. It is ready to play. An antique 1909 Birmingham hallmarked Asprey& Co. sterling silver mounted glass cream pitcher. The petite size pitcher measures 3 5/8" height. It is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks but does show a couple of small scratches on the edge near the base. The silver is in perfect condition and the lid opens and closes properly. The decanter stands over a foot tall and I am guessing it is near a gallon size or close to. Design: The design features a Repoussed Motif decoration of Victorian scrolls or paisley and has been intricately designed all over the top of the Sterling. The Buckle is secure and has a gorgeous Shield like style to it. The Body of the Decanter is hand Blown Green Glass in excellent condition no chips or cracks. NAUTILUS CUP Standing-cup of carved and polished nautilus shell mounted in gold or silver set with gemstones. Its principal function was decorative. Although in some examples the lip of the shell was cut away to facilitate its use as a drinking vessel. The finest examples were made in Germany between 1550 and 1650. And later examples are rare. The cup was sometimes conceived as a grotesque or marine creature. Of which the nautilus shell, often later replaced in silver, formed the body. Representations of Poseidon. Mermaids, mermen, seahorses and griffins were favoured motifs, their figures often forming the stem. Nautilus shells were also sometimes engraved. For sale is a German. Silver mounted nautilus cup in very good condition. The stem is in a form of cupid holding tape made of flowers. The finial is in a form of half man half seahorse. ... moreThe shell is very nicely engraved and the top of the shell is not polished remaining natural colour strips of the nautilus. The silver stem is hallmarked as you can see on the pictures. This cup was probably used as a drinking cup as the top of the shell is cut away. I can’t see any hallmarks on the finial. Total high including finial is 340 mm. The width is 140 mm I will date this cup for 18 or early 19 century.

A lovely Victorian glug decanter in fine antique condition. In quatrefoil form with pinched waist the decanter has four channels for liquid to pass from the lower bulbous section to the upper. The glass is in excellent clean condition and free from any cracks or chips. The silver mount has four seperate pouring channels that form a beautiful floral shape. The silver is in fine polished antique condition and free from any marks other than from polishing. The silver is hallmarked: WN over GN. Lion passant, leopard head and S, indicating the work of the London silversmith brothers William and George Neal in 1893. The charming little stopper is finished with a globe shaped lift that catches the light reflecting from the silver beautifully. It is in great condition with a few inconsequental nibbles to the end. One on the collar and the other on the underside of the lid. This item has been re-listed as someone bid on it in error. Old Cowboy marked Colordo Saddlery Denver vintage spurs brass - n.silver mounted
This is the second pair of Colorado spurs that came out of the same collection. And the last pair of marked Colorado spurs. Vintage pair of marked spurs with a 1 and 1/8 inch concho that is marked Colorado Saddlery Denver. Also all 4 swingers are marked Colorado. These spurs came out of a Wyoming collection that I purchased a few years back. I sold several pair out of this collection previously on ebay. Spurs are all original without any breaks or repairs and are solid. Rowel is 1 and 3/4 inches wide with a dull 16 points and each spur has original jingle bobs. Brass and probably nickle silver mounted. There are some scratches etc. on the metal of the spurs.
