This fine quality Victorian silver pen& pencil combination measures 165mm(6.5" extended x 65mm(2.5" closed and weighs 26 grams. It is marked S. Mordan& Co to one of the two extending shafts and dates to the late 1800's. It has a two stage telescopic action with a further sliding pencil or dip pen nib holder. With a seal end and a rotating suspension loop to the other end to enable it to be hung from a watch fob or chatelaine. It is in good antique condition with a smooth telescopic action and the pencil propelling mechanism and the nib holder work as they should. Fantastic Sampson& Mordan 10k gold and bone telescopic pencil with gold stars encased in the bone. In good working order and marked S.Mordan& Co and a arrow on the top gold band which is the symbol for 10k gold. Approx 5.25cm long and extends to 7.25cm there are some splits in the bone as pictures show but nothing major and it has lost its loop on the head of the pencil.

Antique Pounce Pot Antique Victorian silver travelling pounce pot in the form of an egg made for Jenner& Knewstub by Sampson Mordan. The pot has a gilded interior and weighted base. Fully hallmarked on the internal screw fastener for London 1880 and also stamped with the makers mark for Sampson Mordan. Hallmarked again on the base inside and out. Around the screw fastener the pot has been engraved'Jenner& Knewstub. 33 St. James's Street' Approximately 3.4cms in height and 2.6cms in width. Weight approximately 32g. Nice antique condition. The silver is fully hallmarked on the base of the pin cushion confirming it was assayed in Chester in 1908(please see second photograph- date letter'H' The hallmark also includes the maker's mark'SM& Co' for Sampson Mordan& Co. Who are regarded as the most desirable manufacturer of pin cushions, etc in the Victorian/Edwardian period. The Sampson Mordan Chick is a design classic. Very Rare Victorian Silver and Oak Horseshoe Desk Paper Clip by Sampson Mordan& Co of London 1893. The paperclip has slight damage- one of the silver oblong studs in the oak is missing and there is s small hole in the end of the horseshoe. There is also a rough join line in the silver at the base of the silver shoe. see photographs attached) The silver is hallmarked S.M& C. The oak base has no damage. Double sided Cobalt blue glass perfume bottle, with silver engraved caps. The one end flip open and the other end unscrews. It is marked"S(Sampson) Mordan& Co. 4 1/4" long. Good antique condition. There are some tiny screws missing from the bottle- see pic. There are no stoppers. The side with the flop up top has a hole in the silver maybe for a small screw that is no longer there.
