Vintage Chinese?Porcelain Soup Bowl, Spoon, Dish Matching Signed &red mark
For your consideration we are offering this beautiful hand drawn signed by artist matching porcelain soup bowl. Spoon and small dish(possible spoon rest? I believe it may be Chinese. I am not sure. I researched the red hand drawn mark and it matches Kang Nian Zhi Maybe from the 1960’s. I am not an expert. I can only state on what examples I could find that matched the mark. The pieces are exquisitely hand drawn small birds(resembling chickadees) on a flowering cherry tree branch. The artist talent is quite wonderful. Please see up-close photos to better appreciate the artist skill. The photo of the 3 pieces together does not show the details. The artist has signed each piece except for the spoon, I am guessing maybe because of lack of space. The pieces are in great condition free of cracks or chips. There are some areas of rub wear along ... morethe silver trim especially on the spoon from being handled. The bowl has a line of broken light paint in between the calligraphy which appears to be the same silver used on the trim. It appears to be original to the piece. These matching pieces are of very delicate porcelain. The bowl measures 4 ½” across top and 2 ¼” high. The spoon measures 5 1/8” long, 2” wide at widest area and 1 ½” high from table top to highest point. The dish measures 4” wide and 1” high from table top to edge of rim. Antique Chinese Porcelains-One Teapot and One Vase. Both with 18c Qianlong Mark
This is a collection which I found at an Estate. They both have a Qianlong mark on the base as I have shown in the photos which I was told was from the 1890-1930. The Tea pot is 10 high to top of the lid and 8 1/2 without the lid. Also 8 inches deep and just under 3 inches across the base. At 1 3/4 pounds. There is a small amount of ware on the edge of base. This is missing the glaze on the inside of teapot and the inside of the lid. This is 2 inches across the top opening 6 1/2 across from the spout to the handle. Also 5 1/2 wide at the middle. This is a Blue and White. There is a Blue and white vase with pretty pictures of Chinese women and has Black Chinese Scripts. this is an interesting decorative chinese bowl. Probably a censer, it has raised figures around the sides and a seal mark on the base, viewing best option as it was difficult to photograph. it measures about 15.3cm across the top, 7.8cm high. not sure what type of metal its made from, it has a rusty coloured appearance. please enlarge all 12 photos. not seen another like it. also just noticed there is a character mark in between each figure. no idea of age, id guess its a later copy of an early example. looks very good on display. The mark is a rare mark to find as this period of Chinese history lasted for a very short time. The incense burner is very good quality and is decorated with imperial five clawed dragons. Longevity marks, taotie masks, a Buddha and other Chinese symbols. This piece I believe is silver plated or another white metal. The top has been superbly pierced and the whole piece is very decorative. The total height is approximately 20.5cm high by approximately 18cm wide from handle to handle. WELCOME TO MY PAGE UP FOR AUCTION: ANTIQUE BLUE& WHITE CHINESE PORCELAIN PRUNUS BLOSSOMS JAR KANGXI MARK LATE QING PERIOD NO RESERVE NO RESERVE NO RESERVE The featured item represents an antique Chinese porcelain jar with ovoid shape that measures approximately 4 3/4" tall. 2" in diameter at the lips and 3 1/2" at the bottom. The jar is decorated with underglazed finely hand painted white prunus blossoms on dark blue ground. The pattern is a Chinese symbol for the ending of the winter and an announcement of spring. The bottom fbears a blue underglaze double ring Kangxi mark. Although the piece bears a Kangxi mark I believe it was actually crafted during the late Qing dynasty. Possibly the Guangxu reign or a bit earlier. The item comes in overall good vintage condition for its age. The inside shows quite of crackles(shown ... moreon photo#5) but that does not reflect on the appearance of the jar. Normal wear on the foot rim with some natural flaws on the bottom. The blue glaze has some small holes throughout(like on photo#4) Not sure if they were caused during the firing process or they appeared with the time. The biggest is probably about 2 millimeters. The rest are tinier. Expect some other natural flaws, like paint spills or other small firing or age ones. There is no lid. The item is sold"AS IS" and no return are accepted. Please. Buffed heavy three-legged pot with Chinese reign mark
You are bidding on a cylindrical pot buffed to a high finish with an applied Chinese reign mark and raised flower decorations. I believe it is made of bronze but it could be brass; only a metallurgical analysis could determine its composition for certain. It weighs about 11 pounds 12 ounces and measures about 10¼ inches in diameter at the base and about 10¾ inches diameter at the top by about 8 6/8 inches high. The feet are about an inch tall. There are spots of corrosion and some minor scratching but overall it is in excellent condition with no dings or losses. Important LG Chinese Antique Ming Dynasty Wanli Mark Wucai Porcelain Candlestick
WHOA! This is an extremely rare and exciting find! From very. Very old estate here in Houston that was not publicly advertised until after this was purchased. This estate was amazing-old money, old family with very,very high quality antiques. We didn't think about this piece, we just grabbed it as fast as we could! These were probably part of a set used on an alter of a temple. The only other candle sticks of this size and quality we have seen that also were made in sections are described as such-one pair is in the Victoria and Albert museum and the other pair sold for $288,839.35 USD at Woolley and Wallis. Those were blue and white and dated to the Qianlong Period but were the only others of this same size and construction. We love the remains of mutton fat on the top of this piece! What a wonderful thought to ponder.where this might ... morehave been and who might have gazed on it as the candle burned! Everything about it is perfect, from the elegant shape to the wonderful under glaze blue and over glaze enamels. The colors are fantastic! This is a very heavy piece. It has had a beautiful, caved wooden(zitan? base made for it and the top fitted piece is wood as well. You can see in the pictures how the sections were carefully, individually made and how they fit together. It is just an incredible example of early Chinese porcelain-we have NEVER seen another anything like it! It measures an impressive 27" tall(with stand) There is an over glaze Wanli mark on the bottom but it could be later. Excellent condition with fine crazing throughout and an old, barley notaceable glaze flake just above the top section divider. No cracks or repairs. hi all here for sale is a chinese hand painted ginger jar it is missing its lid there is a double blue ring mark to the base of the jar and also a double blue ring around the top of the jar. on the rim of the top of the jar(where the lid should go) is 3 red lines/marks to it.
