Please find an excellent condition raw brass Scodwell Bb trumpet with a good condition Yamaha Zeno double case. The instrument has a few added features to include a full raw brass Harrelson trim kit to include top. Bottom caps and valve buttons. Also Taylor Phat thumb and finger rings have been added to give the horn a contemporary look. The serial number is 137(see bell tail ferrule at 1st valve casing as shown in picture showing the valve casing serial#27023 which I believe is a Kanstul valve casing serial# used by Tony Scodwell on his early builds) medium large bore size measured at the 2nd valve slide measures.460" The bell is 4.75" The instrument has been chem cleaned and thoroughly cleaned inside and out. What few dings and nicks it had have been removed. All new valve stem felts as well as new waterkey corks. Good valve compression ... moreand 1st and 3rd valve finger ring adjustments move freely without drag. Valves have been machine lapped to valve casings to yield super fast valve action. The case has been sanitized no odors to worry about. The horn will be thoroughly hand polished and buffed again utilizing two different rouge polishes before shipping. It will look new and shiny and ready to play right out of the box. The original builder of this horn was the infamous lead trumpet player Tony Scodwell of the Doc Severson and the Tonight Show Band. 1978 Lord of the Rings Finger Puppet Samwise plus salesman copy?
You are bidding on a lot of 2 1978 Lord of the Rings finger puppets made for the movie by Ralph Bakshi and distributed by Animal Toys Plus. The first Samwise is what was distributed through retail outlets. It contains the base and the finger puppet. Although the 2 Samwise items may seem the same(Both have the same trademarks) there are some noticebale differences. The second one has the following differences: 1. It is much more solid than the regular vinyl puppet. It has no flexibility whatsoever. 2. The bottom hole is too big to sit on a base as if one was never intended to be placed in it. 3. The paint is much more detailed(Hair color on the prototype? is actually a different color all together and the skin color is different) 4. It is slightly larger I have never seen one like this so I cannot be 100% positive on what it actually is. My ... moreguess would be a prototype/salesman copy. I received these when I was a kid from my grandfather who worked for playpal plastics and my guess is for Animal Toys Plus too. He painted many of these vinyl banks and figures. He would bring many of these items home. My guess is he brought home some left overs from the company. Condition: 1. Normal Samwise shows some wear but overall very nice(no sticker) 2. Possible Prototype/salesman copy has some(what looks like) glue residue on his Samwise's hood. It is possible that this could be a one of a kind item.
