Antique Southeast Asian Chinese Carved Bone Doctors Doll 18th C This is for an antique Southeast Asian Chinese carved roe deer bone doctors doll. Qing Dynasty, 18th century(1701-1800) Made of deer bone, finely carved in the form of a reclining oriental female, depicted wearing only shoes. Her left hand is supporting her head, while her right hand is making a communicative gesture. The roe deer bone has a glossy lustre with dark flecks, and is carved in two main sections, spliced together and held by bone pins. The left hand is also separately carved and spliced onto the arm. This measures 10.6 cm in length, and 2.2 cm in width. It weighs 27 grams. The condition is generally excellent, there are no chips and no repair, the bone has the patina of age. Please see images. It's very heavy and the areas of wearing would have taken a century or more to accumulate. There is significant crazing which looks very old as well. Similar to ancient Chinese or Asian pieces I've seen in the past. None of these features look man-made in the least. There's light paper stuffed inside that even looks older than my Grandmother's Grandmother. I couldn't find any labeling or markers insignia. I imagine any markings could have easily worn off. This is a nice large Chinese carved bamboo tea caddy It is superbly carved in high relief with four cartouches depicting two scenes from Chinese novel and the two others with phoenixes. Beautifully painted yet haunting monochrome. The artwork resembles Chinese/Japanese calligraphy. Graceful strokes of black on rice paper, and in my humble opinion it is much more beautiful than the garishly colored ones. No rips. Great working condition! It even still has the closure ring still attached!they ring is also waxed rice paper very fragile and attached with string and they usually get lost) The bamboo shaft locking mechanism functions perfectly and the parasol is still nice and tight as a drum when locked open! ANTIQUE CHINESE FOLK ART PEASANT CLOTH DOLL This charming. Handmade doll comes from the estate of an Air Force Captain stationed in China during WW ll. Measuring 10.5 inches tall. This little Chinese pheasant girl doll appears to be completely handmade and hand stitched. The doll is in good condition but does show signs of age. There's a stain to her left cheek and the fabric back of her tunic has deteriorated over the years and part of the fabric is missing. The doll's fabric"apron" also shows some soil. Offered from my mother's estate is an Antique 1900-1940s or earlier Asian or Chinese Wood Umbrella Parasol. It is handcrafted and hand painted. Very Very OLD. Made from lots of wood and a heavy paper or fabric. Its very heavy for a paper. Marked on the inside see photo. I can make out Bingtang Lima. Closed it is about 28" long. Measuring tip to end of handle. It opens up to about 38" across. I didn't open it all the way because I don't know how it is held open. There is a wood peg in there, and it appears that the leather strap or string hooks onto the peg to hold it open. I didn't want to risk damage. Up for auction is a FABULOUS Hand Painted Antique( Probably Qing Dynasty) Tile. It is a very very RARE Asian/Mongolian Ancient Horse Polo Scene in a village. This is an antique Chinese hanging wooden panel. Depicting what appears to be a stylized ox. Very nicely carved. Hard to put a date on this; my guess is the 19th century, but that's just a guess. It once had gold and red paint on it, but that's now mostly worn off. There is a small chip of wood missing from the upper right corner. Aside from this it's in very good condition. 14 1/4" X 6 1/2.

This listing is for a very old antique. Ornate bronze stand for an urn, censer, or vase. It has three intricately detailed peach tree branches supporting the upper portion. The stand measures 8 1/2" 216 mm) base diameter, and 4 13/16" 122 mm) tall overall. The top ring measures 3 9/16" 90.5 mm) outer diameter, and 2 11/16" 68.5 mm) inside diameter. This stand is very heavy- weighing 105.4 ounces(2990 grams) All three branches are different, and also have different arrangements of leaves and peaches. The bottom portion of the base is a bit tweaked along one side, and has a crack on the edge. Two of the three bottom branch attachments have long ago been"repaired" using(very home-made) screws. The third leg attachment retains its original pierced rectangular tenon- which fits nicely into a matching hole. The tenon's ... morelocking pin has been replaced with a square iron nail. The top ring has a few heavy scratches. There are several broken leaves and other minor losses, though for the most part, the stand is quite intact. It has a good old original surface. For sale I have an antique carved Chinese wall relief which looks as though it was originally a window panel or shutter. You can tell this piece is old by the way the paint has naturally faded through the years giving this piece a great artistic patina. Primary colors are reds with gold gilt accenting throughout. This piece is angled rather than just a square or rectangle giving unique appeal. The wood is light and fragile but is still in pretty good shape. Very minor wear may be found. But nothing terrible. There is some dust to be found in the curls and places where you can see through the piece. There is also a hairline crack that can be seen on the back, which is not visible on the front, and does not effect the integrity of this piece. This piece measures 11" wide and 14" long. This is an antique Chinese Silk iron. Made in China(as is stamped) This came from an estate where the lady and her husband had an antique store in NY many years ago. This one. Since it has the cloisonne' in the bottom, appears to be made for decorative purposes. Originally a hot piece of coal was used to heat it for silk ironing. I could be incorrect, but I have not seen any others with the scene in the bowl area. The handle has a blue background with the cherry blossoms and the blossoms continue but are embossed to the outside of the bowl. There is a chip in the cloisonne' on the lower underside part of the handle which I have given a separate pic of. Hard to notice for display. The inside cloisonne' is an old steamer ship with a paddle wheel with no sign of wear. Really beautiful-slightly heavy. Just over 7" in length. ... more3 1/8" wide and 1 3/4" high.
