Antique Southeast Asian Chinese Carved Bone Doctors Doll 18th C This is for an antique Southeast Asian Chinese carved roe deer bone doctors doll. Qing Dynasty, 18th century(1701-1800) Made of deer bone, finely carved in the form of a reclining oriental female, depicted wearing only shoes. Her left hand is supporting her head, while her right hand is making a communicative gesture. The roe deer bone has a glossy lustre with dark flecks, and is carved in two main sections, spliced together and held by bone pins. The left hand is also separately carved and spliced onto the arm. This measures 10.6 cm in length, and 2.2 cm in width. It weighs 27 grams. The condition is generally excellent, there are no chips and no repair, the bone has the patina of age. Please see images. The vase and the box are from 18th century while the frame corners are from 17th century. The box is at excellent condition except for the wear of the gilding. Late 18th Early 19th Cent Chinese Export Porcelain Cups and Bowl Hand Decorated
Chinese Export Tea Pieces Offered is a set of Chinese Export porcelain items hand decorated with blue trim and orange floral details and green leaves. The pieces include a small bowl that measures 4 1/4" across and 1" tall. There are two extremely small chips and some crazing underneath. Other marks are clearly from production. The second item id a very small footed cup that perfectly matches the bowl. Very common in the 1800's tea cups were made without handles and the tea was drank from a shallow bowl or saucer. This particular cup is 1 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" across the top. There is a single chip to the mouth of the small cup as well as some crazing and as shown there is a bit of porcelain remaining on the inside from production. The final piece is a but larger and may have been used for sugar. It also has a couple ... moreof blemishes and a hairline crack as shown. It stands 2 1/2" tall and 2 7/8" across the mouth. A terrific antique set that shows the wonderful craftsmanship of the time period as well as the differences in life and culture. A fresh estate find. This Chinese export ice bucket stands 7 1/2" inches high and 7 1/2" inches wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks: It is fresh from an estate and has not been cleaned.
