VINTAGE ASIAN LACQUER BOX& 4 SETS OF CHOPSTICKS MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAY This auction is for a vintage Asian lacquer box that is black with a somewhat reddish"swirl" effect. The drawer's exterior is also black. The interior is bright red, and the drawer slides completely out of one end of the box. In the drawer are 4 sets of chopsticks. Three sets measure 7 ¾” long and are embellished with multi-color mother-of-pearl inlay. The fourth pair measures 9” long. Is not embellished with mop. And is a reddish color with black swirls. The lacquer box is in excellent condition with only a couple of barely noticeable tiny nicks on each end and a tiny 1/16” scratch on top. The only glaring sign of wear is on the bottom of the black lacquer drawer where some of the lacquer has worn off from sliding in and out of the box.
