Sewkit8 Vintage Enameled Sterling Sewing Kit/ Etui German* Circa 1925 This elegant sewing etui is made of solid 935/1000(Sterling+) silver and is covered with white enamel over guilloché engraving. The top is a thimble with a moonstone set into the crown. Inside is a silver bobbin with spools for 3 threads and a needle case in the center. The case is marked"935" on the bottom and on the rim of the thimble. The bobbin has London import sterling hallmarks. A tiny folding pair of steel scissors is inside the needle case. One side of the etui has 2 rough areas in the enamel where the surface layer has chipped- one on the top and one on the bottom. Inside the top is marked"930" and it has the maker's mark used by Marius Hammer of Bergen from the 1870s until the First World War. This pattern is sometimes called the icicle and snowball pattern or just'peaks and dots' The top is set with a dimpled moonstone. The condition is excellent with no wear or damage to the silver or stone. The enamel is perfect. 19th C. French Enameled, Jeweled & Solid Silver Chalice, Paten and Cruet
Spectacular 19th Century French Chalice and Paten Made of Enameled Solid Silver and Precious Stones. With Cruet Set. Luxurious and spectacular French Eucharist set composed by chalice. Paten, tray and two cruet stands. This item dates from the late 19th century and is made of enameled solid silver, precious stones, carved glass and golden metal. The chalice is a striking piece, made of sterling silver and with hand-made enamel medals at the cup and the base. The enamels are impeccable, with no flaws at all and boasting bright and lively colors, just like when it was made. The chalice’s design is really spectacular, with a silver filigree coat covering it from the cup to the base. In the cup we can also see three original 0.75 carat rubies. And at the base there are six 0.90 carat rubies more, with a total of more of 7 and a half carats. On ... morethe other hand, the node is adorned with five beautiful amethysts. This richness is perfectly matched by the wonderful enameled scenes located in both parts. At the base we can see three scenes of Jesus Chris’s life: the Birth, the Baptism and The Crucifixion. Between them there are three symbols: the Sacred Heart, the nails and the crown of thorns and an image of two birds drinking from a chalice(an old symbol related with the sacred that was already used by ancient Christians in the catacombs) At the cup there are three images more depicting Saint Joseph. Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ. The chalice is entirely made of solid silver and has hallmarks in all of its parts. The paten is also made of silver and bears a delicate engraved decoration with Jesus Christ’s monogram, IHS, in the center. The set includes two carved glass and golden metal cruet stands with enameled rosettes at the base, and a golden metal tray(also decorated with enamels) designed to carry the articles. All these pieces can be stored in a black case inside lined with red felt. The set is complete and in great condition, a rare feature that turns it into an exceptional piece. Six of the spoons are done in German 800 purity silver and depict different cities and historical sites. The first spoon is enameled in yellow. White and red with the coat of arms of Munster at the tip of the handle, and the bowl is decorated with a scene of the Munster Rathaus or city hall. The second spoon was made by Mayer& Fuchs. It is enameled with the coat of arms of the city of Eisenach and has a classic twist handle. The third spoon is cast with a castle coat of arms at the end of the handle and enameled with the city name, Kissingen, below. The bowl of this spoon depicts Rakoczy Brunnen. Vintage Pink Enameled and Sterling Silver Elephant Brooch
This is a wonderful vintage brooch of a pink enameled elephant with green feet and a decorative blanket. There is some damage to the enamel on the front lifted leg and the pin stem is not straight but otherwise it is in good vintage condition with a well working pin claps. It is stamped sterling and appears to have a signature and maker's mark on the back but I can't make them out. The brooch is approximately 2 inches wide and 1 5/8 inches tall.

As far as I know the store is no longer in business. This bracelet is made of silver with enameled oval stones in purple, blue, turquoise, red, bugundy, green- see pictures. The silver is solid- not hollow. The lock is with a safety catch- see pictures for extra protection. On one end of the lock it is inscribed into the metal 925. It is 8" long. Excellent condition with no damage of any kind but could use a bit of shining up as it was sitting in my jewlery box for the last 20 years at least. EAPG Mt Washington or New England Rubina enameled salt shakers in silver/p frame
Since I have been unable to find either the shakers or the frame in Lechner's World of Salt Shakers second edition. I cannot confirm with certainty that this pair belongs together with this frame, but certainly this is a nice old F B Rogers Quadruple plate condiment holder, with a very low handle, suggesting these cute little shakers are perfectly suitable for it, at only 2 3/4" tall to the top of the tops. Here's what I can say about this set. The shakers are a very sweet matched set of rubina shakers with tiny inverted thumbprint optic on the interior. Each is enameled on the outside with two butterflies and some grasses. There is a bit(but very little) of cloudiness in the shakers. Each shaker has an old two-piece pewter top in good working order: these tops probably date the shakers to the 1880s. I attribute them tentatively ... moreto Mt Washington or New England on the basis of their rubina glass. Enamel decoration, tiny thumbprint optic, and age; but it is possible that they were made by another company. There is no damage on the shakers, though the tops are a bit rough, and the larger holes of the salt are visibly corroded. The frame(4 1/2" long and 3 1/2" tall) is trademarked by F P Rogers. In Taunton, Mass, and so presumably dates from after 1886, if the Wikipedia entry on the company is correct. It says Quadruple on the base, so is presumably quadruple plate, in pretty good shape, but it may not have all of its silver surface on the base where the shakers set. The shakers do not fit especially snugly within the circles. But then again, the circles aren't perfectly circular, so that may not be an issue. Regardless. This is a beautiful set, and I think my price is a reasonable price for the matched shakers themselves, which are presumably a difficult shape to find(very similar, if not identical to the shape of Peterson's Spangled Glass Bulb, letter N on his color plate) A fine set for the collector of Victorian art glass shakers. It measures 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" It is enameled at the edge of each wing and has a large pear shaped gold colored facetted gemstone on it's lower body with clear facetted stones for the eyes(I can only guess that they are diamonds. CZ's or possibly crystals) It is in Excellent Condition. This was my sisters before she lost her battle with cancer. I'm thinking it's vintage. As she had it for a lot of years.
