I worked for many years in the healthcare industry and for Hollywood Ocean Gifts on Hollywood Beach Florida. The store has been closed many years. But I still have a few nice things from there and all over South Florida. As an avid treasure hunter I come across some unique items as well! My friend who went back home overseas, because of medical reasons, left this with me. I hope someone will enjoy it and it will sure help out my friend. This is a beautiful vintage filigree station chain necklace. It measures 18 1/2 inches with the clasp. There are a total of 13 intricate filigree stations about every inch or so. That measure a 1/4 inch each. The links seem to be a round rolo link, and while this is a nice chain ... morefor a lady, it is not dainty or delicate. The links are substantial and very solid. It is a nice substantial chain weighing 5.88 grams. The clasp is an older clasp, if I were going to wear it myself, I would replace the clasp. There is a 14K stamp on the clasp and additional marks on the other end, that I cannot make out. This is a very nicely made piece of jewelry, some of my pictures do not do it justice. It's hard to see the fine millgrain detailing in the filigree. I will have a pair of filigree earrings up for auction soon, they may make a nice compliment to this chain necklace.
