White ivory cream wedding stole rabbit fur wrap (smoke free home)
This is a Rabbit fur stole in an ivory cream white color. Has a hook clasp as pictured. On the front are two decorative balls of rabbit fur. There does not appear to be any stains on the rabbit fur and is in good shape very soft and fluffy. Was bought for a wedding but not used. It is lined with a silky satin lining same color as the rabbit fur I took a picture of the little designs on the satin. Where the circle metal clasp is located there are two small rust spots. It is probably from the metal clasps. It is not visible at first glance plus it is on the inside where it does not show. The ruffles that are pictured are at the top part where the back of the neck would be. it is 38 inches from clasp to clasp. I will ship this carefully in a large envelope. Historic original cabinet photograph featuring a beautiful young woman wearing fashionable jewelry which includes a collar brooch. Hair comb, necklace and earrings, a dress with beadwork on the bodice, and a dark fluffy stole draped over her shoulders, circa 1880s. The photographer's imprint on the mount identifies the location as Cleveland. Ohio and the photographer as Pifer& Beckey. Cabinet card photography began in 1863. Although the peak years for cabinet cards were 1870-1900. According to Collector's Guide to Early Photographs by O. Henry Mace. The area below the image usually contained the photographer's imprint after 1880; this particular mount, in combination with the woman's clothing, can be dated to that decade. This photo is guaranteed to be old and original. She's in excellent shape with one mark below the Midge 1962 Barbie 1968 Mattel Inc Patented mark on her bottom. Japan on the foot and bottom of her shoe. Her dress is yellow beaded silk and she has a real mink stole. The dress has a small spot and is missing one of the snaps which has caused the stitching at the top in the back to come loose.
