Overall condition is good antique(see below, and pics) The embroidery is blue and that gives the overall color but the base fabric when you look at it is green. The ophreys are beautifully embroidered. Label indicates that it was made in France. Apologies for the poor quality of the photos. And please feel free to ask for more or any other details. Please note the following before bidding or buying this item: 1) The INNER lining of the back of the chasuble is faded– some minor fading can also be seen along the outer bottom of the back of the vestment as well(it appears a little silvery in the second photo- this is NOT the band that appears across the vestment in the first photo. Which is due to the light) Please look well at the photos. 2) There is very minor damage around the cross on the burse– it is noticeable if one looks closely. I have not tried to clean it for fear of damaging the vestment. But my guess it is that it could be. 3) The"tapes"ribbons to fasten the chasuble around the waist. And the maniple around the arm are old and probably need replacing. I have other vestments from the collection which are being offered- please look at my listings in the upcoming week if you are interested. Combined shipping is offered. Nine great vintage mink items. One piece may be coyote or raccoon in second photo. A collar I think. The 2 jackets are in pretty good shape with all the fur and maybe a missing tail. Vintage mint saphire blue mink stole/shawl with hidden pockets lined
Beautiful soft mink stole by Fur Label Authority. This was my grandma's stole and has her name embroidered inside the jacket. The lining is in mint condition. It is a Beige satin damask pattern. Please see pictures. She only wore this a couple of times. The stole has two pockets in the inside that are hidden. Hopefully someone can enjoy this jewel. It has been cleaned and stored for years. Smells wonderful! The length is 18" from top to bottom and 66" overall from side to side. The color is hard to explain but is a great piece! Fits all sizes. Excellent shape!

Not meant to keep one warm.Fashion is strange. Made from 4 fully prime skins.48" long total, Clasp is broken, but plastic chain is still there. Plastic was still special then. Darker color fur, All 8 glass eyes still there. Still wearable if you don't get rough with it. Or could be used to guard the cookie jar from gullible persons. Cherry and Webb of Lawrence, MA Mahogany Mink Capelet Stole 1940'so
Mahogany Mink Fur Stoles were very popular in the 1940's. 1950's pelts are senior citizens; they are 70 plus years old! Some owners maintained their stoles. Indulging them in regular cleansing and conditioning(and storing them at a furrier during the summer months in controlled temps and humidity) Other pelts were not so lucky! All fur pelts in my listings have been cleansed and conditioned by Northern New England's finest Furrier. Stoles have an unknown storage history. But the condition of the pelt(like your skin) is a good indicator of how well it has been cared for. Disclosures: The pelt is a little stiff even after a good cleanse and conditioning. No repairs have been made to capelet. The lining is intact but a little discolored. Which is most likely a sign that it got wet in the past.
