Handcarved Madonna Travel Shrine
This hand carved shrine is probably either done by Anri or carved in Oberammergau. It is not marked so I can't be sure. I'll photograph her face close up so you can see how finely she is carved. However she does have a flaw. At some time she took a fall forward and broke off part of her praying hands. I'll also do my best to take a clear shot of her arms and hands. I did not see this when I purchased her. She does display well unless you get out your magnifying glass. A shrine like this is very hard to find unless you are traveling in Europe. From time to time they may appear on eBay. But only rarely. Please ask if you have any questions.

Offered is a Commemorative Plate of Mt. Rushmore titled Shrine of Democracy by Fostoria dated 1975. The plate has the words"Founding" Expansion" Preservation" and"Unification" above the heads of the Presidents and"Shrine of Democracy" at the Bottom. Fostoria 1975 is also embossed in the glass.
