Antique 1907 Cross Arts& Crafts Movement Edwardian Era Vintage Religious Jewelry. As unusual as it is beautiful. This textured cross is a splendid example of the artistry of the Arts& Crafts Movement. This piece was piece lovingly and skillfully hand wrought and dated 1907, the Edwardian Era. It appears that the piece was rendered by creating the cross base, then the tendrils adorning the top were made by pouring the base metal into a mould lined with tiny quartz crystals. Some of these crystals remain embedded into the decorative elements of the cross. On the reverse, the date 1907 spans the cross bar, which is centered with a stamped"PAT FEB 23, 1904" At the top of the reverse, the initials BC are engraved in script. The entire piece has been heavily yellow gold plated(or filled) This is truly a splendid find for the collector of jewelry of the Arts& Crafts movement, during the Edwardian period. Measurements: 2" long to the top of the ring. But not including the ring bale. It is almost 1 1/4" wide. In profile, the piece is about 3/16" thick. The chain is 17 1/2" in wearable length. Condition: In very. Very good antique condition with only tiny fine scratches attesting to the gentlest of wear. The fact that so many of the quartz crystals are still adhering to the piece, even though it was crafted over 100 years ago, gives testament to its loving care. The rose gold filled chain, with secure thumb ring clasp, is not a match to the yellow gold tone of the cross, but is appropriate for the age of the piece and was with it when I purchased it. Hallmarks: 1907. PAT FEB 23, 1904, BC. I searched through every patent issued on the date above at the US Patent& Trademark Office website. As it is brought into the temple it is placed on an offering table symbolically given to the manifestations of god that particular ceremony is intended for. It receives incenses. Some money, mantra prayers from the temple helpers and is then left until the bringer of this offering has prayed. Antique estate sale find. Very old(probably be 19th century) little wooden primitive farmhouse foot stool. Lots of character! Made with(I think it's called) mortise and tennon joints. Has lots of dings. Wear, some repairs, some splits- still pretty sturdy, but I would let it stay"retired" and use it as a riser/ display piece. It was made a bit off kilter, as far as the placing of the stretchers. The top is not quite level. The dark circle on the top is burned into the wood. Very nice and rustic. Check out my! This item has been in the family for a while. It belonged to my mother. But she passed of cancer. I do not know much about this item, but the money that I get for it, I will pass along to my father. She bought this many moons ago, and I know it is extremely old. It is made of copper for the most part, and the handles are made of porcelain. On the handles that connect it to the pot, are lion figures. I do believe it was meant for carrying coal at one point. All the pieces are there to my knowledge, but the connections that held the handles are broken thru or corroded off. It appears that at one point this vase may have had a lid as there is an indentation which would suggest this on the top of the vase. There are two minor chips on the inside edge of the vase and there is a picture which reflects this. I can't be sure but it appears that some of the blue paint has lightened up on the floral side of the vase. Length: 14" Width: 9 1/2" This is another piece I bought years ago at an Estate Sale. An woman's elderly grandmother had passed away and they were selling off her estate. I was told that the grandmother had received a dinnerware set of this design as a wedding present in the mid 1930's. I would have loved to have gotten the whole set but the grand daughter was selling it piecemeal and I didn't get there in time. It appears to be hand painted though it is not signed. Due to it's age there are some minor imperfections that are barely visible. Some'age spots" I took pics so please look them over before buying to make sure the plate is acceptable. I showed this piece to an antique dealer friend of mine who dated it between 1920's-1930's and offered me $75 for the plate at the time. Antique Chinese 19th Century Marble Top Teak/Rosewood Plant Stand Highly Ornate
For your consideration is this gorgeously crafted and highly ornate. 19th century Chinese plant stand. It is either constructed of rosewood or teak. The shelf is fit with an octagon shaped marble top. The approximate measurements are 36" tall, 17" wide at the widest point, and 13-1/2" wide across the top. As for condition: This beautiful piece is in overall good condition for its age with normal age wear although the following are areas with other damage: Unfortunately. There is one foot missing. This does not interfere with its stability, but presents a visual weakness. There is also on the top decorated edge of the table top where the balls circle the complete edge around it. There are two small wood shaped balls the have a small chip on them, there is another ball that half is broken off. See photos. There is a hairline ... morecrack on one edge of the marble top(see image 9) On the inside bottom. Someone has re-glued around the legs most likely to make the stand sturdier. There is piece missing on one side in the center bottom of the ornate skirt that connected one side of a flower to the side of another flower. See photo. I approximate this missing piece at about one-half inch. Having presented the condition. One would have to still say this highly ornate piece is still spectacular and stunning. There is a plant stand very similar to this one that recently sold on eBay for close to $2,000 and some sellers are currently asking for more. However, to make a fair and proper adjustment for the condition issues this lovely piece has, we have opted to open the bidding at a much lower price to leave room for the owner to have the problem areas repaired if desired. Personally, I would put that leg with the missing toward a wall or corner so it was hidden from view. Antique (maybe) porcelain lid
Found this porcelain lid in the basement. I have no idea how old it is. Except the house was built in 1900. Lid is in exceptional condition, with only a couple of blemishes underneath. From the location I would assume they are from the mold. The are some hairline scratches on top that are only visible because it was so dusty when I found it. In my opinion I was able to clean them out. The lip will fit inside a 6" bowl.

This is a gorgeous antique punch bowl with stand. Marked T& V LIMOGES FRANCE(TRESSEMANN& VOGT ca. 1892-1907) The piece is completely and skillfully hand painted inside and out. Inside the bowl we see a decoration of heavy gold and pink scrolls and in the center there is a large"S" artistically rendered.The background is a pale pink. The outside of the bowl is decorated with blackberries. Pink flowers and green foliage on a creamy background. The foot of the bowl is dark green. And the color continues on the second piece: a majestic stand with four feet, decorated with heavy gold. The bowl has a diameter of 14" and is 8 3/4" high with stand. 6" without stand. The stand has a diameter of 7 1/2" and with feet reaches 9 1/2" in width. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, repairs ... morenor hairlines. There is minimal gold wear. If any, and some wear to the green color on the top of the base, where the bowl sits(doesn't show when the bowl is on it) An amazing and rare piece. If you need more pictures please let me know. Antique Hammered Metal 5 Piece Vanity Set Mirror, Brushes & Comb
This is a very impressive set. The hand hammered finish covers the entire back of the mirror and brushes and both sides of the handles. It is gorgeous. I do not know what this metal is. This set is not marked. The color is a beautiful gunmetal silver with the darker tarnish bringing out the hammered"spots" I normally don't polish items before listing them. But my curiosity got the better of me! This polished up like sterling, black residue came off with polish, leaving shiny surface and dark in the dimples of the hammered spots. There is no sign of plate loss or base metal showing through underneath. The bevelled glass mirror is clear. The hairbrush has natural bristles. Is very clean and looks like it has never been used. The clothes brush bristles are natural. In fact. One brush has soft bristles, the other brush has stiffer ... morebristles. I believe this is a sign of a well made set designed for different needs of use. The frames are held to the wood brush base and the comb by small nails. One nail is missing off of the hairbrush. See pic 7. That area is pushed in a little bit, however the hairbrush is not loose. One of the finer teeth of the tortoiseshell comb is broken. This set is great for use or display. This item is an antique nautical style garniture consisting of a large compote dish and two candle holders. The laege compote style bowl stands approximately 10" inches high and measures approximately 12" inches wide at its widest point. The candle holders stand 10" inches high. All pieces are in good condition plus each piece is signed and numbered. I don't know if they are silver. Silverplate or pot metal. They are pretty heavy and have a nice patina on them.
