This Lovely Little Oval Sterling Silver and Lilac or Lavender Guilloche Enamel Pill Box has been in my family for as long as I can remember. My Dad had an Antiques Shop in New York City many years ago so I would imagine it was an item he purchased at one of the many NYC auction galleries he had frequented back then. Probably in the 1930s to 1940s. The Lid measures about 1 7/8" from left to right; the base measures about 1 5/8" from left to right. It is about 1/2" Tall. I have photographed the marks to the very best of my ability. Since I do not really have much knowledge about marks. I'll leave ... moreit to you to decide. To the best of my understanding, the Anchor mark seems to indicate this was a Birmingham piece. The maker initials of L S or L& S might be L. Spiers or maybe Levi& Salaman? Beautiful Art Deco style pill or snuff box with blue guilloche designs. It is marked on the inside and I can't really make out the mark. But I do see the number 1 clearly marked on the inside and the other mark looks like it starts with a g or a 9? I was told this box is silver when I purchased it. The box measures approx. 1 3/4 inches by a little over 1 inch. I love the colors on this box. A few scratches ut good condition for age.

This is a stunning antique handmade sterling silver and enamel Chinese trinket box. it is a very detailed box and well made in a circular format. the box has many small details which are hand laid with colored enamel and has acquired a lovely patina from age. the lid is hinged in the back and sits recessed over the base. it is in nice antique condition and measures 1 3/8 inches by 1/2 inch.
