Antique Holy Icon St. Cristo de Limpias Jesus Christ Bust Statue Chalkware 14"
Y ou are bidding on a beautiful. Statue of the"Bust of the Passion of our Lord" It depicts Christ lifting his eyes of mercy, looking very realistic with the look of tears with blood and sweat as he gave his life for us. The piece measures 13 1/2" high and is made of a chalk-ware type material. Offered as is as shown with no cracks and no breaks, it does have some small paint nicks as you can see in the pictures. Not sure of maker- but it is old, probably made in Spain or Mexico? Bottom base has old felt and the spikes coming from the crown on Jesus' head are very sharp. I believe these are actual metal nails. Again this is an old art piece and harder to find. Thank you.

Here we have a 24 1/2 inch TALL Virgin Mary Our Lady of Grace old vintage chalkware statue.Comes with home made vestments as shown in pictures. Now.Her one thumb is broken off(I do not have the piece,but perhaps one can be formed out of some MH Ready Patch spackle,sold at most hardware stores in the paint section,it's great stuff,about 6 bucks and change) Now.Some issues,looks like someone,for some unknown reason,sawed under her arm pits with some kind of sharp instrument,I have NO idea why(see pics)so there are hole marks under her arms(see pics) Now.These are probably not her origional vestments,this is how I found her,but this could be a very nice statue if you can get some material and make some new vestments for her. Hard-to-find chalkware statue of St. Nicholas. He wears the Eastern-style bishop’s crown. Holds a book in one hand and raises his right hand in blessing. His right hand is broken. Large Chalkware or Plaster Baby Jesus Statue, glass eyes, over 18 inches long
Price Cut to make the space! Large plaster or chalk-ware baby statue. I believe this is of Jesus as a baby. It measures about 18 inches long, so this is a big piece. As shown in the photos, there are spots in the hair where the plaster has been chipped and it needs to be touched up with paint. The left hand has a finger tip broken off, but the piece is with the statue and can be glued back on(I'll leave that to the buyer to do as you choose) The statue looks to be well made, and has glass eyes and has small eyelashes(check photos, some of eyelashes may not be remaining) The size of this statue and the fragile nature of material. Means it will need to be double boxed with bubble wrap and carefully supported with packing material, to avoid shipping damage. Hand sewn stars& such on the bib front, one missing as shown. This lovely figure. Was displayed for years in a shrine, and had many years of dust on it. I only took a soft brush to clean. You can clean the fabric and lace, but I am not qualified to clean vintage fabrics, therefore it is sold as it has aged and you may prefer it that way. The hood has a tiny stain on the back side. Because the fabric protected the statue over the many years. The main chalk body& paint underneath are in excellent condition with some minor signs of use. A painted over small chip(as shown) to the gold base along the edge where the company name is. A few random ... morespecks of color out of the hair in the back of the head. The hand with fingers up, is the original metal hand which is imbedded in the chalk) The other hand holding the globe(which is chalk) had two fingernails touched up to hide paint abrasion. Sometime in its history. Beautiful hand painted face and expression. Fine line near nose. Crown is detailed chalk and painted matte gold to enhance these features& topped with a cross. It measures approximately a tad less than 14" tall to the top of the cross on the crown. soda can used only for size reference) Heavy for the size. Weighs 3 lbs by itself unpacked. Italian Plaster Chalkware Statue St. Anthony of Padua This Catholic chalkware is a classic depiction of Saint Anthony of Padua wearing the tonsure and brown habit of the Franciscan order to which he belonged. He carries in his right arm the Christ Child who lovingly gazes at him. The saint holds a branch of white lilies to symbolize his purity and devotion. Saint Anthony is the Patron Saint for lost articles. His feast day is June 13th. This statue is made of chalk/Italian plaster and h and painted in full color with gold trim. It stands 9 1/2" tall. Vintage Jesus Sacred Heart Plaster Chalkware Statue Bust Shrine
This vintage chalkware candle shrine/ bust/statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was produced in the 1930s by the Penna Statuary Co. Inc. It stands about 12" tall and 10" wide, approx. 6.5" front to back. This was originally used for sick call visits by the priest. There would be two candles in the small recessed holders in front. As well as a crucifix in the center. The back panel would open and holy water and a cloth corporal would be there for administering the last rites or anointing of the sick on a home visit. On this shrine. The crucifix and sliding metal back door are missing. One of the brass liners to one of the recessed candle holders is missing. However, they still hold candles(not included) and any small crucifix can be placed in the recessed crucifix holder. We have displayed this in our home for a long time without ... moreit and it is still very attractive. We are only letting it go because we have an overabundance of Sacred Heart images in our home and very little space! Beautiful Mother Mary Statue Just a striking Statue and in such wonderful condition. I believe this is from Italy. But not certain. There is the numbers and letters on the back base. The color is exquisite and the detail is very defined. There are three tiny spots on the back veil and at the back base, where the paint has flaked off. Very good condition: original paint finish with clothing minor paint flakes. The flesh fine. St. Joseph is missing his pierced brass halo. Jesus is missing his right forearm. Gilt also unworn, a few minor paint flakes to robe. The flesh and hair are fine. The mound chalkware base has been cracked 3/4 of the way around.

Vintage chalkware statue of Saint Anthony holding the Christ Child and a lily. He is 14" high and the base is 3" x 3 1/4" and he weighs 2 lbs. 14 ozs. He is painted with a very glossy paint as can be seen in the photos. There is a chip in the back of the collar on Saint Anthony and a flaw on the side of his face that is facing the child Christ. There are several small chips in the paint on the base. This religious statue is from an estate sale.

Antique Large Sacred Heart Jesus Statue Made of Chalkware Circa 1920's.give or take No makers name found. I would say this is in good condition for its age. It has paint flaking present from age and storage. I rescued this statue from an attic of an old estate this past weekend. It was wrapped heavily in newspapers. there is some remnants of newspaper still stuck to the head of the statue. This could be removed carefully. i am selling it in the condition I found it in. No broken pieces or chips besides that paint flakes. Overall measurements are: 7 1/4" wide. elbow to elbow& 22 1/2" tall 6" across the bottom of the base front to back This weights about 16 pounds It will be heavily bubble wrapped and Insured when shipped.
