Elegant Antique Chinese Pair of Ruyi Scepters with Carved Jade & Rosewood Base
Beautiful pair of Ruyi Scepters with light green/ white jade inserts and hand-carved rosewood base.The Ruyi Scepters have a very simple yet elegant design with carved rose wood base. The one base is detailed with a carved dragon and the other base with a flower. The jades are lightly decorated on the front. Each piece is signed in Chinese but unfortunately; I can’t make out what it says. The jades are in excellent condition and the rosewood base as well. However. There is some slight scratches on the wood base probably a sticker that someone tried to remove. The scepters in my best opinion are early mid-20 th Century but the jade maybe much older. Each piece measures 9 ½ inches and the jade measures 5 inches. The blue boxes are original to the scepters and kept in excellent condition. Please preview all the pictures.

They are pretty ornate with exotic birds and flowers to the main part. This auction is for a pair of HAND CRAFTED PORCELAIN OPIUM LAMPS. These could have been created any time between 1900 on up into the 1960's from what I have read. They stand about 5" tall. They are not exactly the same. Though I'd say similar and I did purchase them together. One is marked Made in Hong Kong and the other is hand scripted with oriental figures. They do come apart and have wicks. I have pictured one that the clay that attaches it to the base has dried up so it does come off. I will let the new owner decide how to reglue it. The salts are in fair condition there are a couple of dents and there are 2 lizards missing from one salt please refer to photos. The napkin ring is also in fair condition(there are several small dents commensurate with its age and use. The salts are decorated with engraved patterns and the napkin ring is decorated with embossed scenes of people with boats and animals in the background(please refer to photos) The salts measure 63mm across x 30mm high and the napkin ring measures 34mm wide and the overall weight is a heavy 80.8 grams. Pair of antique bronze Chinese dragon candle holders from grandmothers estate. The picture of candle sticks on mantel are from Christmas 1960 in her house. Grand father pick them up when stationed over seas in 1942. But was told they were much older. Will also give dated picture. One stands 5 3/8" tall x 4 1/4" long, the other is 5" tall x 4 1/2" long. They seem to have been hand made, pieces do not fit perfectly together and stand at a slight angle. As you can see in old picture they dont look like they sit straight up,flat on mantle, Seems like thats how they were assembled. One has a very small crack at the tail on bottom, as shown in picture, but does not effect how it stands. Looks like it was put together like that. Has a very nice patina. Beautiful mixed-metal. Solid not plated, combination of nickel and silver(according to my jeweler) pair of what I believe are Chinese cup rests or holders. As shown in the photos, they have a pierced design on two sides. They also have dragon designs engraved onto each of the other two interior sides.These engraved designs are a bit difficult to photograph since they are somewhat worn with age but they are at least partially visible in the photos. For your consideration we have here a hard to find pair of antique Chinese carved hardwood display stands in an attractive medium brown coloring in wonderful condition which were produced in China some time in the first half of the 1900s although they appear much newer but I guarantee these are legitimate older stands which have the older delicate legs and turned feet. This pair of stands have had many similar styles made today as these display antique porcelains. Carvings and cloisonne pieces so well and because of the delicate nature of the legs many did not survive but the newer copies always have heavier designed undersides now and simply do not have that good antique appearance. The top has a raised turned center with a shaped top edge and a concaved collar sitting on a apron or skirt nicely shaped with pierced slots with all edges having ... moreraised lines. All four legs are shaped in the cabriolet style terminating into upturned feet with scrolled sides and a shaped stretcher for strength and design. Condition of both stands are excellent with just light surface wear but no chips, cracks, losses or problems I can see of any type and actually both stands appear to be made from the same piece of wood as you can almost match up exactly the two skirts in the first photo of the wood grain. Pair Genuine Antique Vintage Chinese Moon Cake Molds Carved Wood Buddha Floral
Available are 2 genuine vintage Chinese wood molds. I was told these were used for cookies or cakes. But I am no expert. There is one mold of a Buddha and one of a floral design with a Chinese symbol inside. I don't know the year these were made. They have been used and at some point finished over. So, expect scratches, dents or other signs of wear and use under the finish. This is what gives vintage items their charm. Here's the measurements: about 7 to 7 1/4 inches long by about 4 inches wide by about 1 inch thick. I don't know if it is safe to use these for the preparation of food or anything else. I am selling them as decorative items only. If you choose to use them for anything other than decorative items you do so at your own risk.
