This is an old antique 19th Century beautifully carved pair of wood high relief pierced panels from high end estate. One panel is 16 1/4" by 6" and has a battle scene and other panel is 16 1/4" by 6 1/4" and has a 11/4" hook on top and it is a celebration scene. The celebration scene panel has black enamel paints chips on top left and bottom right corners. The battle scene panel on the back side corners look different like it came off of something. A beautiful Chinese enamelled metal spoon. I think the flamboyant style is Straits Chinese and it probably dates from the late 19thC to the Early 20th Century. A wonderful design of pink flowers. Green leaves and a butterfly on a yellow background with a vibrant Duck Egg blue edge and reverse. There are no marks on it. In very good condition with one hairline crack inside the spoon and 2 or 3 tiny. Tiny mini chips around the edges. The very smallest amount of wear on the underside where it rests on the table(showing it's age) Really pretty. It measures approx. 15.8cm long x 4.7 across the widest part. The ribbon is original and there are three tiny slivers missing in the piercing of the staves but other than that this fan is in excellent condition. The rivets have mother of pearl buttons.
