A beautiful gift for a Bride, Maid of Honor and/or Bridesmaids.Perfect for the Confirmation or RCIA graduate.or just for yourself: This bracelet is handmade and hand polished(no chemicals were used) from silver plated spoons which dates back to 1934 in the Knickerbocker design and measures 7.5" and connects using a magnetic clasp. The vintage holy medal used is of the Virgin Mary holding the Infant Jesus and is written in French. The reverse side has the prayer to the Virgin Mary in French and is made from aluminum. Attached is a 3 piece glass bead strand in which the Dark Blue bead is a Swarovski crystal. Please note that the spoon bracelet is vintage and has a black blemish that could not be polished off and the holy medal is also vintage. These pieces are quite old and do show their age. These blemishes and minor wear is what gives each piece it's own individual character! The glass beads are newer and are recycled from other jewelry pieces. Old French Antique Vintage Catholic Notre-Dame de Reims Gothic Cathedral Bar Pin
This is an old Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral bar pin. The centre of the piece displays an image of the Cathedral; this image is flaked by roses on either side. Back has pin. The Cathedral of Reims is where the French kings received their coronation. And is located on the site where St. Remi baptized the first Catholic king of France, Clovis. Pin has oxidation and open-C clasp is out of round, but pin and clasp work. Overall, the piece is in fair condition for its age in my opinion. The pin measures approximately 2 and 1/8 inches in width.
