It is very well constructed with the beads fully interlocked with sealed rings. All 5x8mm beads are original and in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. At the center is a shield-shaped Scapular Medal with a left facing profile of Christ and on the verso. An image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. It is marked"Sterling" on this side. This is a very Old and Rare Vintage Necklace that was owned by my mother who was born in 1912. She always said is was her Lady of Fatima Necklace. But I am not sure that it might be the Blessed Mother. However, my mother was always right. The chain is approximately 8 inches long and the pendant is approximately 2 inches long and approximately 1 1/2 inches across. The pendant has a lavender background and the flowers and leaves have blue stones in them. It really shimmers and has a lot of detail. The pictures don't do it justice.
