Amber Stemless Crystal Glasses For auction is a VERY UNIQUE set of 6. Stemless crystal glasses. They are a deep amber hue with 22KT Gold Banding(which runs both vertical AND horizontal) I have been told by someone that has had these same glasses that they were made in th 1940's& were made in Romania. The glasses are VERY delicate& have that'ping' you associate with crystal. I don't really know what this means but the bottom of the glass has a really light'swirled' effect( it's very faint. Never seen it before. You can barely see it. Have to look close but it is there. Waterman 52 Hard Rubber Fountain Pen. Two 9CT Gold Bands. 14CT OB Nib. Vintage. Here is a rare/vintage waterman pen. The body and cap of this fountain pen are made from hard rubber. Originally this pen would of been black. But over time the pen goes threw a process of oxidation, which turns the colour of the pen a chocolate brown colour. But take nothing away it still is a piece of history as the pen is 80+ years old. To top that off, Waterman decided to put two solid 9ct gold rings around the barrel, which dates it back to 1929, and what makes it look irresistible. For such an early pen it's condition is still great, there are no cracks, splits or any pitting to the gold work. One of the gold rings has embossed, L.K.K, a previous owner I presume. The beautiful nib has embossed Waterman's Ideal, Reg US, Pat Off, 2, and writes with ... morean oblique medium line, with the ability to flex giving you more variation in your lines. Down the side of the barrel has the imprints, Waterman's Ideal, Reg US, Pat Off, Fountain Pen. Around the bottom end of the barrel has the imprints, Waterman's, Reg US, Pat Off, Made in USA. The very bottom of the pen has the number 52 embossed. The pen has a Good length of 13.8 cm's(5 1/2 inch) Capped. This Pen is user friendly and has been fully tested and is ready to use. Tray was used very gently. There are minimal scratches on the bottom along with flaws at the time of creation. Gold shows some wear(Please see pictures) These pretty serving pieces were used at parties and dinners. It is nearly impossible to find these older pieces without some flaws. Offering a beautiful setting of four bands of rings. The outer ones have two sapphire cabochons. The center band can be changed with a sapphire band or a white gold band. But not able have both at the same time. it has the hooks to permanently attach them in order for them to stay permanent. Outer permanent bands are size 8, the center Sapphire one is size 8, and the white gold with diamonds is size 8.75. Tested 14K yellow and white gold, but it fell stronger as an 18K gold.
