Another one of my estate sale Relics. The stool is in good working condition.And is made from cast iron,and twisted heavy metal wire. I'm not sure what occupation might have used the stool. It appears to be from the late 1800's to the early 1920's,not sure. The stool has a threaded rod that runs thru the center of the ornate cast iron. The rod raises and lowers the seat to the desired height. The piece measures 18in tall x 18in wide x 18 in wide,and you can adjust it to a height of approx 22 + inches. The piece is heavy. Cast Iron & Rubber OOAK Vtg Machine Age Steampunk Stool Vanity Hairpin Legs MCM
This is a very interesting stool that was likely home made years ago and possibly one of a kind. It is iron and steel with hardwood sandwiched between an iron plate and very heavy duty resilient rubber seat surface. Thick cast iron legs with hard rubber tips are bolted into the bottom plate that is layered with a wooden slab and topped with a heavy rubber plate with no cracks or breaks. It measures 27" high. 15.5" to the seat which is 12" square. Very good condition with paint wear but very very sturdy and heavy at 25 lbs. Thank you!

Vintage Sewing Machine Cabinet Foot Stool
This is a vintage foot stool that was part of a sewing machine cabinet that dates to the 1930's. To me it is incongrous and if I hadn't seen it with the cabinet I would have never put the two items together. It is made of the same wood(I believe walnut) as the cabinet was. The cabinet had solid walnut legs and a veneered top. This stool for lack of a better term is approximately 15" wide. 10" deep, and 10" tall. The top is covered in old dried out leather. On the bottom(pictures 4 and 5) is a partial label that says, The Lake Side Sheboykan, WI. There are other words I can't make out. It shows a man using an old fashioned block plane on a piece of wood. Even though it's old it is very sturdy. Thanks for looking.

Antique Vintage Metal 3-Leg Milk Stool In Our Family at least 60 Yrs. Old Then
Antique Vintage Black Metal 3 leg Milk Stool about 10 inches and 10 1\2 inch diameter top in very heavy metal construction with a few bumps& bruises from all it's years of service. I took it out of the cellar of the house that we moved into about 24 years ago where it's been sitting all these years. This was our 3rd move since the small farm where we had the cow whose name was"Summit Farms Flora" when we all took turns milking her with this milk stool that we've kept all these years and why I have no idea. When we've lost or forgotten or threw out so many other items since those days back in the 1950's. We had a couple horses, the cow, some chickens, some bantam hens, couple ducks, couple geese, and always a dog back then and now. The stool weighs about 7 lbs. and good and solid and would make a great addition ... moreto a collection or for the use it was made for another 50-100 years. Measures 10 5/8" height x 8 1/2" diameter seat; seat thickness 1 3/4" The wood is well aged with rough surfaces. Giving it that primitive look. The wood is not brittle but I would suggest treating the stool with TLC. The stool appears to be assembled with no nails or screws. Photos#1- 3 are one-third progressive turns. In#2 you can see the dowel that the seat slats are assembled onto. The'makers mark' is shown in photo#6, stamped into the bottom side of seat. Here we have a real piece of quality vintage African art. A tribal art stool with a typically styled native figure in a exaggerated pose holding up the seat. In my opinion this piece dates from between 1900-1940. Now I am by no means an expert in African arts but I can see from the style and natural patina on this piece that it does has plenty of authentic age. All in very good condition. The sturdiest little stool I've ever seen! Solid maple wood- well built- excellent quality! Legs are pegged into the top as shown in photo. A brass tag on the underside states the manufacturer- A genuine Cushman Colonial Creations- made in Bennington. Vermont. Also has an"F" stamped into it as well as"CUSHMAN 9038" The Cushman company was sold in 1971. This stool is over 50 years old, but has no major problems. A few surface scratches, but nothing structurally. The top looks like someone started to sand then stopped- a few light places on the top. 3 of the legs have a felt tab on bottom which I did not attempt to remove. Antique Small Round Foot Stool ~ Needlepoint Top ~ Cast Iron Legs ~ 1897-1903?
I am offering an antique small round Foot Stool with a Needlepoint top. It measures approx 10" in diameter and 7-1/4" tall. It is a wood base with four cast iron curved legs. The Needlepoint is an off brown color with what looks like a basket of flowers in center. The needlepoint is tight and all in really good shpe. With a a few loose threads, could snip off, but I have left as is and I am not sure how old Needlepoint is. Not sure if all is original, but now has what looks like painted gold around wood edge of stool, on the round balls under edge between each leg, and gold on the outside of the 4 legs, black inside. Around the approx 1" edge it is worn and has knicks, pictures will show. The tacks holding in the needlepoint are the original brown color. The legs are fastened tight with screws and one must have come out at ... moresometime because a newer screw has been used on one leg, and a picture will show. It has been in my family since new and was purchased from Wormser Furn. Co. in Fresno, CA. You will see where someone wrote 1897 on back, not sure who, but Wormser Furn bult a new store in 1903. It measures approx 10" in diameter. is 7-1/4" tall and weighs 3 pounds before packaging. There are shadows and light reflections from my camera in pictures. Sorry my pictures do not it justice. Vintage Cushman Wood Colonial Footstool. Sept 23. 1946. The bottom is stamped CUSHMAN 9028. And dated in pencil. Sept 23, 1946. You can find some history on the H.T. Cushman Furniture Company on the North Bennington. VT web site. Just search“Cushman furniture VT” The top is approximately 5/8” thick and is approximately 12-7/8” by 7-3/4” It stands +/ 5” high. The legs were glued(see photos) So I wonder if those are pegs that you see on the top. There is just a very small amount of give/wiggle, but they are study and the stool stands straight. Nice patina.
