There is some museum wax remnant on the top of the stand, and it has a thin piece of wood that can be placed over the hole. The table has one large drawer with rabbit joints and Neoclassical Style Knob Pulls. The table has straight tapering legs that end in spade feet. There is a delicate veneer inlay at each side of the front of the table apron, with with a bow and draping floral design. The table has beautiful grain, although I am unsure of the type of wood that it is made from. The table has drop laves on each side. It is 29.5" tall, 28" long, 16" wide front to back, and expands to an oval top that is 47" long with both leaves up.

The stand has machine turned legs, and towel bars at the sides that attach to a custom shaped trim work that runs across the back. This trim work is at most 5" above the top of the stand. The top of the stand is 28.5" tall, 33" tall at the top of the raised towel bars, is 28.5" long across the back from bar to bar, and 18.75" wide front to back, including the trim. The bottom shelf has a small area at the far right front where it looks like the wood may have been broken and repaired, or at least cracked. I am unsure of the type of wood that the stand is made from, but it looks like Cherry to me.

Perhaps someone began to sand the chair for refinishing. The chair has a little metal label on the back that has BC153 impressed into it. The chair is 35” tall at the back, 18” tall at the seat, 18” wide at the seat, 16” deep at the seat, 21.5” deep total, and 19” across the leg span. This is a nice, heavy solid wood sturdy side chair that will be a wonderful addition to your wood furniture collection and will be a nice woodworking refinishing project for someone as well.

Up for auction is a sturdy antique dresser with a marble top. The top sits on the dresser and the heavy weight of the top keeps it in place. Top does not fasten to the dresser. The top has more gray tones than white. Marble is clean with no noticeable cracks or stains. The three drawers have locks; however. We do not have the key and do not know if the locks are functioning. The dresser is on casters and rolls nicely making it easy to move. We do not know the actual age of the dresser and do not know the name of the manufacture. We did not see any obvious markings. Stampings, or dates on the dresser or the top. The dresser drawers have a dovetail type of joinery. We are guessing that the dresser is early 1900's. The 3 lower drawers are 14 1/2" deep. 6 1/2" high and 31 1/2" wide. Top 2 drawers are the same height and depth but measure 29" wide. Drawer pull hardware is in excellent condition. All drawers are dove tail joints. The top of the dresser has a stain and a few markings. One small broken piece on the trim on the back right hand side. As seen in the pics, which is tough to notice. The bottom of the dresser has markings from being moved around but no major defects. I believe it is Maple but I am not 100% sure. Will deliver locally for a small fee.
