Antique Treadle Sew. Mach. Tiger Oak 4 Drawers/Frames Primitive Box Repurpose
WELCOME TO MY AUCTION! This is a wonderful Antique Pair of Treadle Sewing Machine Drawers and Right and Left Frames. They are beautifully carved with wonderful detail. Tiger Oak with carving on the fronts of the 4 drawers and on one side of each of the four drawers. Which would have been originally the outside of the sewing machine. All the drawers have a brass handle. Marked Standard S.M. Co. The handles turn to secure the drawers in the frames. As you turn the handle. A metal piece comes down to keep the drawer"locked" in place. Each drawer is 13" long out of the frame. When the drawers are inside the frame~ 14 3/4" long x 10 1/2" tall. They are so much prettier than my bad photos show. There is the usual antique wear. A couple very minor chips and marks in the wood. Really very nice for it's old age. Antique Child's Dresser Hand Made Early Painted Piece Mirror 4 Drawers Chippy
Primitive Antique Child's Dresser Great little Mirrored Dresser. Originally purchased at the Brimfield Antique Show in MA. This is a great little chippy piece. Do not know the history, my guess it was a hand made piece by someone with very good wood working skill. There is a nice carved pediment across the top over an early mirror. Turned columns on the sides of the mirror and nice decorative trim around the mirror. There are two shallow wide drawers and two square deeper drawers on the bottom. As you can see in the pictures one of the drawer bottoms was made from a wood crate and one of the sides also shows the imprint of a wood crate under the paint(see last picture) There are old metal wheels on the bottom. In good solid antique condition. The paint is worn and chipped, there is wear to the mirror with some silver loss, on the side ... morewhere the imprint of the crate can be seen there is a break to the trim wood on the back corner. On the old wood backing it looks like there is an old water mark. It has seen years of use. Still a great primitive chippy piece that could be left as is, or repainted for a bright clean finish. The top piece with the columns and the mirror is held on with screws and can be removed to cut down on shipping cost. Dresser measures 31" tall. 19" wide and about 12" deep. This table has 4 flat file drawers. The dimensions are 61 in. wide. 34 in. deep, 39 in. high The interior drawer dimensions are 50 in. wide, 29 1/4 in. deep, and 2 3/4 in. high. This table came from St. Ignatius Retreat House(last picture) in Manhasset, NY, which recently was sold. This mansion was donated to the Jesuits in 1937 and I am assuming this table was there when they took over.

A large and rare Jessen& Rosberg wooden watchmaker's fitted cabinet 4' 6" feet tall. It is in 6 sections with 16 drawers and a 2 door cupboard plus two pull out shelves just under its top. It is in physically sound condition with surface scratches and damage to the underside of one drawer(pictured) which is also slightly hard to close due to a poor repair. There is also a side member missing just under the right hand side of its top. The pulls are metal and all original. It is paneled on all sides so it can be placed away from the wall. There appears to be no known damage to this item. The wear is consistent and appropriate with the age and use. The lock on the upper right top drawer is missing from the inside. The top removes from the bottom drawer base for easy moving. The approx. measurements are: 50" L x 28 1/4" W x 30" H. Antique Tiger Oak Dresser W/ Beveled Mirror 4 drawers PALMDALE CA PICKUP ONLY
This is a tiger oak antique dresser that I've had for years. It's time to sell so my loss is your gain! Mirror has lovely carvings at the top and bottom but also some dark areas. Please see photos. Also has beveled edges and is marked 1908 on the back. Honestly, it could be 1906, I can't pull it away from the wall as yet. In good antique condition with one small hole(see pix#11) that my husband made to attach wire to secure it to the wall. We live in earthquake country. Dresser looks great. No obvious scratches. There is 3 or 4 small chips on the bottom of the front(see pix#12) I'm sure the back is rough though, as was the custom way back then. It has 4 good sized drawers. The handles may be reproduction, the screws look new. The locks look old though. Dovetailed corners show it was once painted green, but has been stripped ... moreback to its original finish. Back piece of drawers slide into place. The legs have small wheel casters on the bottom. Dresser measures 42 inches across the widest point. 22 1/2 inches deep. Dresser is 35 inches tall and the mirror adds another 40 inches. Mirror frame is 38 inches wide at the bottom. Antique Cherry 2 over 4 chest of drawers with mirror from Penn State Dorms
I purchased this from Penn State University as a student in 1989 as they were selling all of the original dorm furniture from one of their buildings. Most likely made by Pennsylvania House furniture of cherry. 2 upper drawers have keyholes but I do not have the key. Mirror pivots on swivels. The back had been replaced with a piece of paneling. Dovetail construction with original feet. The brass knobs are all similar but do not match exactly. Bottom drawer has some wear where it rubs against the slider. May actually be walnut instead of cherry.

Here is a set of 4 matching brass label holders from some old file drawers. These four are large and heavy. The outside dimensions are 3 7/16 x 2 1/8 inches. They have a slot that can fit a label with an overall size of 2 15/16 x 1 15/16 inches. The window that makes part of the label visible is 2 3/4 x 1 7/16 inch. These have some darkening from tarnish that will make them look good on an old piece of furniture. They are in very good used condition.
