RARE ANTIQUE BRASS TIBETAN TANTRIC RITUAL RAM'S HEAD MASK
This is a very rare and unusual item used in some kind of Tibetan Tantric ritual. It is an ornately decorated scull from a Ram. I do not know the details of how or why. But I do know this one is very old. I was only abel to find three of these and don't think I will every have anymore. Here are the particulars: The horns are about 16" wide. Front to back is about 9" height is 4.5" Material appears to be brass with some copper. Eyes look like glass and there are also some coral accents. This auction is for a CHINESE STEELYARD BALANCE SCALE. The scale is possibly Tibetan and has Inlaid decorative work and measures 20 3/8 inches in length. I believe the materials are brass. Cast iron for the hook and wood for the arm of the scale; the decorative inlay appears to be brass and there is what looks like a signature in silver inlay? I have no idea how this thing works. But I think there is supposed to be some sort of pan included with this scale into which you would put the items to be weighed; however, if there is supposed to be a pan, it is now missing. This charming foo dog is exquisite in its detailing. It is made of brass and is covered with inlaid coral and turquoise. It measures 4 inches in length and little more than that in height. I acquired this item at an estate sale with many Asian antiquities. I am not sure of its age. Also. This dog's head comes off, I am not sure why. It is dusty and missing 2-3 small stones. I acquire this charming little rabbit at an estate sale. He came with a Tibetan Brass Foo Dog. Which I also have listed for sale. As they are of similar composition, I assume that this rabbit is also from Tibet. This little guy measures 3.5 inches in length and 3 inches in height. He is made of Brass, with inlaid coral eyes and inlaid white stones covering the rest of his body. I am not sure of that stones identity. This auction is for one antique Tibetan Churn and Dasher with Brass Wrappings and original strap. Churn is in great overall condition considering its age and use over 100 or so years. This was used to churn yak milk into butter. Due to the nomadic nature of its owner(s) It was deigned to be portable, carried by a strap over the shoulder. The older churns have the brass wraps like this one. Not the iron wraps you usually find. Also, it is wrapped with the original yak hair rope. Churn could use a little tidying up if you wanted to repurpose it. It would clean up very nicely as it's basically in good. Solid condition. It measures 3 1/2 inches wide by 3 ¾ inches tall by 1 inches thick. The front is finely and deeply hand chased glass windows. Behind THE window is a hand painted cast statues of Tibetan Deities. exquisite antique/vintage octagonal shaped brass condiments box from Tibet. With carved figures of the emperor and his two wives on either side on the top and carved figures of the emperor on all 4 sides.It is 6" x 5" x2.1/2" height with a boundary of colourful coral turquoise and emerald green beads all around.Inside the box there are 3 compartments with lids which were used for serving condiments and nuts. Apart from a few missing beads and some age marks on the inner brass section. The box is in very good condition and a unique rare piece for any collection.

PLEASE NOTE: The first picture is of the horn in the closed position. The second is of it extended. This expandable horn is from Tibet from the 19th century. The horn is made of copper and brass. The copper is dovetailed and the brass is hand hammered into ornate patterns. The horn is large at 64 ¾ inches tall when extended and 24 ¼ inches when reduced in size to its three sections. The end of the horn is 10 inches in diameter. The mouth piece screws off. There are some dents including a couple on the top brass section. There is a dent to the bottom brass section. The cover and foot appear to be brass but the body, handle and spout bronze. The cover is finely pierced and chased but its flange has become slightly distorted from time and use with a two inch split in one area which is not visible when the cover is in place. The body is well cast with the handle and spout being exquisitely cast in the form of a dragon and a garuda mask. The body has applied decoration of straps and panels all finely chased and embossed and held in place with copper pins. Dimensions: 29cm high(with lid) 29cm wide from edge of handle to tip of spout. Super Rare Antique Brass TIBETAN SEAL Tibet Nepal Temple Document Chop Stamp
This is a beautiful antique brass Tibetan Seal that I acquired from a reputable Tibetan antiquities dealer in Nepal who have known for years. It is hammered brass sheeting and do not know the inner core. But it feels too heavy to be wood unless the wood has an inner weight. The weight feels like it is hammered over stone, but that is conjecture. The actual seal at the bottom is an affixed plate of silver alloy with a Conch Shell motif. The Conch Shell is an ancient Tibetan symbol. The Conch Shell has been a symbol of strength since ancient Vedic times in India, Nepal and Tibet as it was blown prior to battle. Many images of deities depict them holding conch shells called Sankha or Shanka and they are still used in many rituals today. I imagine the seal would be used to stamp official temple documents. This is a wonderful old. Small brass altar statue of the Hindu goddess Kali that I found in an antique shop in Kathmandu. It has a great patina and very elaborate artistry with its flaming aura which shows Tibetan art influences. NOTE: There is a small loop attached to Kalis left upper arm which may have once held a separately cast small piece, but I am not sure. Usually if something is held, there is a slot in the hand, so it may be to hold an incense stick. The statue is 3 and 7/8 inch in height. Kali is the Hindu Mother goddess and primarily symbolizes destruction. She destroys ignorance and helps maintain order in the world by blessing those who come closer to God. In her wrathful aspect. She protrudes her tongue and holds weapons against ignorance while she stands upon her consort Shiva, being one avatar of his wife or an incarnation ... moreof Parvati. I was told that this is an old Tibetan musical horn. it is in very very good condition. it is missing the mouth piece though. it is 14.25" long and has a chain to hang it up. it has a set of antlers and a long horn on each side of it's head. there are all sorts of design engravings on it too. the front part and the chain are brass and the back end of it is copper. this was bought at an estate auction and is a very nice old item.

The exterior of the bowl is finely cast in relief with a concentric band of foliate motifs, two concentric bands of lotus buds, a concentric band of plaiting, and the overhanging edge with concentric rings. The centre of the bowl is incised with double rings. The stem has a large lotus petal knop issuing from lotus buds, above a concentric band of lotus leaves issuing from lotus buds, and a concentric band of flowers and beading to the foot. Antique/vintage hand crafted Tibetan chest or box. The box itself is wooden and has brass and copper detail accented by turquoise and coral stones. The inside is copper-lined. Lots of attention was given to the exterior. There are fish. Birds and other symbols as shown in the photos. The age of the box is unknown. There are 2 or 3 stones missing(one turquoise stone is inside for a replacement) The top of the box has 3 stones on each side of it so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way or if one stone is missing on each side. This ornate incense holder was originally TIBET. It was hand made with hammered copper. Brass, Tibetan silver and coral/ turquoise color glass embellishments. EXCELLENT OLD ANTIQUE TIBETAN BRASS BELL WITH VAJRA HANDLE NICE PATINA
Being offered is a very nice old antique Tibetan bell. This bell measures 7" in height. The diameter of the bottom of the bell is 3 3/4" The bell is cast of brass and is very well made. Has a lovely bell shape and the brass has developed a lovely patina. The bell has good weight and is very solid. I would estimate the bell to be 19th century. The handle of the bell is Vajra shaped with a carved face to one side. The open Vajra top is nicely executed as well. Inside the bell there is an iron lug with a replacement string.
