Awesome vintage cast metal statue of a rodeo cowboy on his rearing show horse. Waving his hat to the imaginary crowd. This figurine is large, standing 11.5" tall on a 5" diameter round base, and weighing 3.5 lbs. This impressive Western Americana statue is hollow-cast in a heavy copper-finished spelter metal with very good detail on the horse and rider. It's in excellent condition with no noticeable cracks or chips, and the copper finish has a lush patina from age. This rodeo statue was probably made in the 1950's-60's. This elephant is made of metal. And is hollow. Not sure if it is lead or tin. It stands 2 inches high. And is 3.5 inches long. It is painted grey and has eyes painted white and black. And some white paint on tusks. Due to unknow age. It is missing paint all over. Take a close look at photos. On its left side of stomach. It has a dent that is pushed in. It is noticable but not serious. There are no markings on it. But on its front left foot there is a marking that could be either a"C" or a"G" Take a look at pictures. I do not know how old it is. This beautiful galloping thoroughbred horse is a high quality bronze. Not a cheap pot metal or resin! It is signed on the top of the base, but I can't make out the name. The first name might be Charlotte and the last name starts with S, maybe Scoleri or something like that. I got this from a horse collector and she told me it was a high quality bronze that she had paid a great deal for. To start with the head has a very unique shape and features that really stand out. This figure also has very pronounced genitalia. He is wearing an assortment of necklaces or rings around his neck and what appears to be a magical charm over his torso. This items does not stand on it's own nor does it seem it was ever meant to but was made perhaps to serve some other function such as a charm or altar piece. This was an estate sale item and it was mentioned that the man it belonged to was a Grand Master? terminology? It has some original flaws and is showing wear especially to red paint. Vintage German Painted Metal Rabbit Figurine/Hollow Cast Lead
I love this Rabbit! The details on him are really fine. He is running and smiling- this is a happy rabbit. He measures 3 and 1/2 inches long. And 1 and 1/2 inches high. He still has his original white paint on his ear. Chest, belly and feet. Germany is stamped on his underbelly. With only some slight signs of wear. He is in very good condition. Thanks for looking.
