this looks like a very early carved wood crucifix painted in what i think is polychrome. Id guess it could be from the 1500-1600s, info and viewing best option otherwise selling as unknown age, it has got lots of wear and its in untouched dirty condition with cracks and other damages as seen. probably one of the earliest your likely to find on ebay, its a large fragile piece so pickup is also welcome, it measures about 46.5cm high, 29.5cm across the hands. im sure you wont find many more surviving examples as old as this. surely an extremely rare example worthy of restoration. Very Very Rare Vintage Lot of 4"Texas' Highest Bridge Corpus Christi-Dedicated 1959 Drinking Glasses" Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge I got these glasses on a trip with my grandmother in 1959 to Corpus Christi. I never used them as drinking glasses just kept them as a souviner. Years of packing and unpacking I have decided to finally sell them. The color on these glasses are just as vibrant today as the day I purchased the glasses. There may be some dust in the bottom of the glasses just due to time spent in the top of my cabinets. They are approximately 6 3/4 high and 2 3/4 round. Interesting Facts 1. It was constructed between 1956 and 1959 to replace a drawbridge. Construction of the bridge began in June 1956 and was completed three years and four months later. 2. During the construction four men fell to their deaths. 3. Up for sale: Vintage letter written on US Naval Air Station(Corpus Christ. TX) stationary. The date on the letter is January 11, 1942. There is no envelope to the letter so I do not know that last names of the individuals involved(first names are Esther, Helen, Florence, et al and Larry) or where the letter was sent. However, it was purchased at an auction in Pennsylvania and he mentions Cranbrookites in the letter. In researching I am concluding the Cranbrook is a street in either York or Dover, PA. Content of the letter: thanks for the Christmas box and"loafing in the hospital with a touch of'grippe' which the Navy terms'cat fever' not much sickness and a lot of resting" This letter is in very good condition.
