Saint Jude Statue and Saint Anthony with Baby Jesus Statue Globe Resin ITALY
1) St. Anthony carry baby Jesus. This is under a sealed plastic dome with black plastic bottom. Picture shows a white spot on black bottom but it's from the light. There is some wear but in overall good vintage condition. Needs a cleaning. There seems to be a small cracks underneath the nose and along the face and neck of Saint Anthony- please see pictures. It kinda looks like plastic peeling a little bit. But it just adds to the beauty of this old piece. It's marked MADE in ITALY on the bottom. This is about 7 1/2 inches tall and base is 11 inches around. Nice size statue. 2) St. Jude statue holding two doves. This is a harder plastic/resin. Very detailed and pretty.Marked with backwards S and 48 inside and on back marked with ITALY. It's 4 3/4 inches tall. Both would be nice additions to your statue collection!

Early '00s Saint Anthony Padua Holding Baby Jesus Christ 26" Chalkware Statue NR
This vintage original early 1900's heavy plaster and chalk ware hand painted statue of St. Anthony Of Padua holding the infant Jesus is very good condition for a piece over one hundred years old. It could use some touch-up paint in some of the more angular protruding areas but all-in-all it is a beautiful piece. The statue belonged to my great-grandmother who was greatly involved with the nuns in the Roman Catholic Church Convents of Providence Rhode Island during the early twentieth century. Saint Anthony is holding a spray of lilies tucked in his fight forearm while is left arm is holding a Bible upon which the Lord sits. There are rosary beads hanging from St. Anthony's waist. Sweet Baby Jesus child hand carved wood painted statue sculpture sacred bleeding heart vintage. This was probably at a church at one time. This is a hand carved wood statue or figure. The painting is hand painted. This is an excellent rendition of Jesus at a young age of around 5 years old. The statue stands at 25 inches by 9 inches wide by 6 inches deep. This is carved of solid wood and weights about 10 pounds. The sculptor spend much time carving the hair. Face, hands and toes. I believe the symbolism is the sacred bleeding heart. He longs for us as the sacrificial lamb for our reconciliation to the Father. The back of his head has a little damage. Please see the pictures.

Dated 1961- His head has scratches on it also his nose is scratched and small chips/scratches on his fingers& globe. When you unfold his lace garment there is a small hole I took a picture of it. Also. You could see where the garment was glued to hold the side down up on the side of his arms and because of age it dried up. As I could see the rest of his garment is great. Black Forest Germany Madonna Mary Child Baby Jesus Wood Carved Statue Figure 8"
Up for auction is a wonderful vintage Black Forest/German Madonna and Child carving. It is an exceptionally nice carving in what I would consider excellent condition. There are no chips. Cracks, dents, or repairs on this lovely statue. She is a natural wood carving in a medium to dark brown wood. The grain in the carving is absolutely wonderful. The Madonna is approximately 8.5" tall and 2.5" wide at the base. Stamped on the bottom of the carving is the following information: Leonhard Hotdrich. 8103 Oberammergau" There is also some other printing on the bottom but it looks to be written in German and I can't make out all the letters. Please see pictures for better details full description. I do not know the age of this carving but since it is in such extremely nice condition. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base:Height 17" x Width 7" Marble Dimensions: Diameter 7" Height without base:16" Weight: 18 LBS Inventory: 14X07078941 Joseph holds the newborn baby Jesus in this arms. He gazes upon this new life falling in love with its presence by the second. This piece has an biblical feel. Joseph is dressed in heavy garments and bare feet. He appears to be from a simpler time in history. This wonderful piece has a black marble base. It is signed Valli. The lost wax method was used. The process of bringing a bronze sculpture to life using the lost-wax method is something you'll appreciate after taking this tour- Enjoy. Here Artist original clay sculpture is ... morenearly ready for the foundry. Note the artist is still adding the finishing touches. Most sculptors prefer to work with clay or wax; some however. Do use wood and other mediums. Here the finished original clay is now complete. The sculptor will take it to the foundry now, get a bid then begin the first stages of the lost wax process. The first step can be shocking for some as they begin to decide how this original will be cut up. In order to prepare the original clay sculpture for molding. It will be dissected by cutting the clay with wire and by cutting the armature with a saw. The armature is what helped support the clay in place while the artist was creating it. Note the registration marks which later in the process will serve to realign the parts. Shown here are the sections of the original clay sculpture after having been dissected. Now the various parts of the original are carefully mounted on clay plugs before the rubber mold material is applied. The clay plug later serves as a pour spout for the mold. As you can see now they begin painting the latex rubber onto the original together with the clay plus that's been added in layers. Notice the shim line that will alter
