Description This is a beautiful Antique Stained Glass window that was salvaged from a Victorian home. It was originally part of a larger window. But this is all that could be salvaged. This panel is largely original and in a new oak frame. It looks darker at the bottom. But it's just wet from washing. It has a purple border with blue inner corners. The center has a yellow background with 2 purple flowers and blue jewels in the center. There are green leaves and yellow buds. It measures 24 long by 31 tall and is 1.5 thick. Glass only is about 19.5 by 26.5 Overall. It is in very good condition. There are a few tight hairlines. It is flat and tight in the cambing. It needs a better cleaning. Description- This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Pittsburgh Victorian home. The background is all clear glass. There is a great design in the center with a colorful heart with roses. It is in the original frame which is in good shape and is painted on one side. The frame itself is trimmed in dentil molding on the exterior side. It measures 52 inches wide by 27.5 inches tall and is 3.25 inches thick at the shelf. The glass only is approximately 48 x 17.5. Overall. It is good co ndition. There are misc. light scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There is one hairline crack and a couple of chips to the frame. Please look at the pictures carefully. Antique Figural Painted&Stained Glass Little Red Riding Hood Hanging Window Pane
This unusual hanging stained glass is 15 1/2” high and a little less than 11 1/2” wide. This hanging is breath-taking in person. Who doesn't love Grimm’s Fairy Tales. And Little Red Riding Hood is certainly one of the best known. My grandparents purchased this in the 1960’s in an antique shop in Germany. They were told that it was very old. I am not sure how old it is. I showed it to the owner of Artisan’s Glassworks which is a Baltimore co. which restores old glass, including stained glass windows for churches. He told me that he could not reproduce this piece today. He said that no one knows how to make the shade of red that’s in the stained glass anymore. He really loved it and said that he’d never seen anything like it. I know that I haven’t either. To me, the style of painting looks Victorian, but I cannot be positive. The bottom of the door is pierced carved. The center section is an ice chipped patterned glass and the top glass has a center of bevelled glass which is alo etched. There are no braked of hairlines. HUGE 46" X 44" ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS 1890's Church Window Beautiful!
This window was made in Germany in 1895. Brought to Pennsylvania by boat, placed on a covered wagon and brought to it's final destination in Kansas. A Methodist church. It was removed from the church in Kansas in 2010 and brought to Florida with us when we moved back. As expected with windows that are 117 years of age. There are small cracks and chips as expected. We even have 2 with bullet holes! This window is in excellent antique condition. There are some small chips in the wood and the there is of course original white paint on the outside that is old as expected. Other than that, it shows beautifully! The colors are vibrant! This window is NOT missing any glass sections. It is in excellent antique condition. The lead cames are strong too as is the barbed wire and metal rods. Nice heavy fir frame. There are 2 diamonds at the ends in green with a shield in the center done in pink and caramel. It is in it's original frame which is painted on both sides. It's in good shape. It measures 49 by 15.75 and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approx 45 x 12. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are a few small hairlines on the ouside edge. There is some paint on the glass. Please see the pictures carefully. The outside dimensions are 29" x 15" x 2" while the window portion measures 24" x 11" The pattern is diamond shaped with vines swirling through it. The painted brown outside portion is crackled while the inside is bare wood. The window frame has one side measuring 1 1/2" high and the other 2 7/8" The wood was sanded on one side and there is no decayed or rotting wood. The etching is all intact with no chips or cracks. U. Louis Comfort Tiffany Stained Glass HUDSON VALLEY Purple Cream Silk Necktie Tie
This made in the U.S.A. 100% silk necktie was designed on the Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass Hudson River Window. This tie measures 56 inches in length and 3 3/8 inches in width at the bottom of the tie and is in new. Never used condition. There is a small manufacturing issue where the print on the silk was missed a little on one of the brackets that hold the glass in the window in place. This could be touched up with permanent ink fine point markers that can be purchased at art and craft supply stores or if you are not skilled in such things, a skilled artist could do so. The silk fabric this tie was made from was most likely imported as the U.S. is not a major silk manufacturer. Buyer Satisfaction is Guaranteed. It has copper wire on the inside neer the middle of it please see pictures. its almost 20 pounds in weight and yes it can be hung it has those thick heavy duty brass or copper wires on the back around 6 of them starting from the left all the way across to the right so you have plenty of wire to connect a wire to hang it up thank you The outside lead has lots of patina my pictures may have not picked it up. Dimensions: 39' horizontal; 36' top peak to bottom; and wood frame 2' thick. Stained glass is all original. 100% and in fantastic shape. Wood frame was bolstered with a metal bracket on the reverse. Wood was scraped but not stripped, I'll leave it to the buyer to strip/stain the frame anyway they want. One circular English stained glass window. Circa 1850. Having a rose and cross wood and metal frame. Measuring 88" inches diameter. 4.5 inches thick and weighing@250lbs. The window is hand painted and fired utilizing pre turn of the century techniques. The glass used is very unique and includes cobalt(blue) Flash(red) and multiple other varieties of color phased and striated glass. History: A rose window(or Catherine window) is often used as a generic term applied to a circular window. But is especially used for those found in churches of the Gothic architectural style and being divided into segments by stone mullions and tracery. This is a beautiful stained glass window. I was told that this is the Tree of Life pattern. I bought this from a doctor in Salina KS. He said that this window came out of the Buffalo Hotel in Buffalo New York. But this truly a beautiful window. I love the use of colors and the design. This window sits 28 inches tall and is 46 inches wide. One side has old white paint and the other is the old wood. If I left anything out of the description that you would like to know please ask. Important Antique China Cabinet French Provincial Style Carved Wood Velvet
This is a two piece china cabinet. Rich in character and style. I am not sure as to the exact date of make. It has a light bulb socket so it can't be earlier than 1900's for sure. It is very hard to get true color representation in photos. Though photos 6 and 7 come closest. My mom has received it as a gift from her cousin(1992 when she left for Europe) who inherited it after her grandmother passed away(1985) It has been with us ever since and it is time to find a loving home for this lovely cabinet. Up for auction is an authentic Scottish stained glass window dating from about 1850. Produced in Glasgow. The window was originally installed with 8 others in the great hall of the Kilmaron Castle in Fife, Scotland. This window measures approximately 46" wide by 43" high and is nearly square. The window was purchased by an American in the 1960's at an auction of the castle's contents, then shipped to and installed in his home in Palm Beach, Florida. The window was very recently removed from that home during renovations by the new owner. This window has a Latin phrase that is the motto of the Morrison Family Clan of Scotland. Four Flemish hand-painted rondels (after Durer)
These are four hand-painted stained glass rondels in early Flemish style(possibly 16th century) They are placed in a larger pair of 19th century frames. The scenes depicted are after Durer woodcuts and are of biblical or classical events. One is very close to Durer's Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse but only has three horsemen) The style and colors match other 16th century Flemish painted rondels as does the border design. I am not an art expert and cannot say definitively they are 16th century but all indications are that they in fact are including the high quality of the painting work and the colors employed. One of the frames is damaged but does not affect the rondels. There is a hairline crack in one of the rondels. Otherwise perfect. Original window from mid 1800s home. the stained window is 23 and a half inches high and 55 and three quarters wide the top row of glass is green in color I have the missing piece and piece of lead. the second row is color purple but turns red in the light or at least it looks red at times. RARE Leaded Stained Glass Window Blacksmith Hardware Frame Lock Stay Church
We believe from our research that this is at least an 18 th century window ~ possibly earlier. Windows can be difficult to date. I have included a link below to help you decide. I was told this window came out of an old church in Detroit. It could have been brought to historic Detroit with settlers from another country. Has been in storage for the last 30 years. Beautiful glass ~ has air bubbles. Wavy, swirls ~ no damage. Shades of green and clear rectangles. Metal frame. Original turnbuckle(handle, knob) and stay(the metal strip with holes that holds the window open to the desired width) The style shows these pieces were made by a blacksmith. There is a flat piece on the turnbuckle that locks the window. On the other side of the turnbuckle is a cutout“v” that locks the window in the open position just a little bit. Tibetan Stained Glass window. Bought in New York at a Tibetan Temple that was built in the 1700’s in New York City. When the temple was torn down in New York. 1993, I was able to purchase this window back in 1993. The Tibetan Monks made the widow. It is a heavy leaded and colored glass Lotus Flower design. I have had it checked and I know it is worth more than $10.000. I love it and it is in wonderful shape for the age. No broken glass and all lead is in tact. The size including the frame is 43 inches by 33 inches. The size of only the glass and lead(without the outside frame) is 39 inches by 2 9 inches. It weighs approx 60 lbs. Stained/colored leaded glass Masonic/Judaic Architectural Detail for top of arch
Very unusual older piece. The 6-point star is common to both Masonic lodges and Judaism. The main central colored area around the star appears to be clear glass that has been mottled with the purplish paint and a brush. Nice old lap joints connect the sections of the frame where original caulking and moldings can be seen. I believe this to be the top of an arch or roof peak on the exterior of a building. 28' across x 31' high and 1 1/4' thick. Shipping weight is 8 lbs.

From estate. Sold as one lot of 4. About 1890- 1910. Truth and Equality are each about 34 inches by 12 inches. Which includes the 1 3/4 inch framing. Liberty and Justice are each about 33 inches by 9 inches which includes 1 1/4 inch framing. The items all hung inside clear glass windows in the library of an old home of a retired judge. The sun was able to shine through them. The overall condition is from very good to excellent. Equality does not seem to have any consequential condition issues while Liberty and Justice have occasional one inch or 1/2 inch cracks. Most of them are photographed. And an aged painted black finish on one side and an aged painted maroon finish on the other. The glass and joints are absolutely beautiful and in great shape. Mid 1800s STAINED GLASS WINDOW Shield & Diamond Design: Hand Painted Detail
This amazing. Leaded, stained glass window was salvaged from an 1800s era home in Northfield, Massachusetts. The home was adjacent to the former Northfield Mount Hermon Christian Seminary and may have been a home for faculty members or possibly administrative offices. Three of the panels have hand painted designs done in reverse. I could not find the meaning of these symbols. But they may be religious in nature. Though I have no way of knowing the exact age of this piece. I believe the style fits into the mid 1800s best. It measures 19" vertically and 20" horizontally. It is not perfect and has two hairline cracks as seen in photos 4 and 5. It is in wonderful condition for being between 120 and 150 years old but has obvious signs of age and wear.
