Fully covered bolster style arms with unusual flamed mahogany arm supports, a wide flamed mahogany seat-rail with u shaped front legs with raised panels of flamed mahogany. The beautiful cranberry damask fabric appears to have been recently applied and is in excellent condition with no issues we can find. This mid 19th century sofa measures 30 inches in height from the floor to the top of the center back.Total length arm to arm measures 85 3/4 inches, seat width measures 71 inches, seat depth is 18 1/2, total depth from front to back measures 22 3/4 inches and seat height from the floor to the top of the seat measures 17 inches and this sofa weighs approximately 125 lbs. This sofa has a grand and regal presence and is very solid and tight. This sofa is longer than most Empire sofas you find with a seat width of almost 6 ft. What a sweet chest of drawers. Salesman sample from circa 1850. Made of Walnut It measures 9 inches tall 9 1/2 inches wide 5 3/4 deep The chest has a water stain on the top. I have never tried to bleach it out. It looks to have been finished in the past. The rear of one of the drawers looks like it had been nibbled on in it's past. See photo. I have owned it for 25 years purchased it from an estate in Maine. You can see in the photo that they did a repair to the top left corner of the top drawer Patched with care. The sample shows very well and the Walnut has depth in the grains. So nice to look at. You are bidding on an antique secretary which features glass door cabinet for books. There are 2 small drawers inside the glass doors and 2 above the fold-out desk. There are three large drawers on the bottom. The piece is 70" tall x 18 1/2" deep and 40 1/2" wide. The wood seems to be mahogany and pine with a veneer that I can't identify. All drawers are solid and all except the small ones inside the cabinet have key holes but no keys. There is a pencil inscription on one of the small inside drawers that says"S W Ingraham Bristol. RI 1883" though I am not aware of a builder by that name in Bristol. My mother-in-law lived in Bristol RI all her life and this was her secretary.

This sofa/ couch was made in the Civil War era. 1820-1860) It is 82" long and 39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand carved walnut wood about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. Vintage 1940's Empire Furniture Mfg Co. Kitchen table. The top is enameled with a beautiful vintage feel in beige and green while underneath is solid wood. The top is in great condition. The legs are steel and attach in a unique style to a round wooden base. There is some slight surface rust near the bottom of the legs but can easily be cleaned. This is clearly from normal wear. There is one divided compartment drawer and an attached spring leaf. The top is 3' 6" wide closed and about 5' with the leaf open. It is almost 3' in length. It about 2 1/2' off the ground.
