The set consists of a salt and pepper shakers as well as a small bowl. Possibly for mustard. The three pieces are held in a metal wire carrier. The three piece of pottery are decorated with colorful transfers depicting a man sitting at a table in period attire with a woman and another man looking on. The small bowl shows the scene of a woman in period dress in what looks like a kitchen. The three pieces are signed twice with what we believe reads"Julia Nelson" and"Fred Terry" on the back. Both Julia and Fred were Edwardian actors and ... morewe assume that this set reproduces scenes from their plays. Just a great find. VINTAGE BONE CHINA PINK FLOWERS IN POT SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS MADE IN ENGLAND
This is a very pretty little vintage set of bone china salt and pepper shakers. One has a pink rose on top and the other may be a pink carnation. One of the leaves is broke off on the carnation shaker(see picture 4) They are 1-1/2" high and the base is 1-1/2" in diameter. They still have their original stoppers which are marked England Pat. 9 No. 439062. The china part is also marked very faintly in green England.

Hard to find Charles Allerton pepper or salt toby shaker. This little guy is 5 1/2" high and does have a little chip on the bottom. Front of the base- see pic 4. Vivid colors, with copper luster details. There's a little gold paint on his hand(not sure if that was done at the factory) and a little paint missing from the back of his hair. His tricorn looks like it may have gotten and extra coat of varnish along the way. A couple of the holes are clogged, and there's not cork in the bottom. Marked.
