This listing is for a beautiful vintage French gray and off white small glass beaded evening bag on an etched brass frame. At the top of the bag. There is a triangular lift up and snap down beaded clasp. At the top of the bag, there are braided beads, in which a thin brass chain comes out of. Inside the purse, there is a creamy white satin lining, with a slip pocket against the back wall. On the front of the pocket, it is marked"Made in France" Above the pocket, the lining has started to separate from the frame, which could easily be sewn back on. On the back of the purse, there appears to be some spots(see my pictures) However, it could simply be the coloring of the beads, for I'm not certain. What a gorgeous design! Beautiful Vintage Made in Belgium Art DECO Nouveau GLASS BEADED Flapper Clutch Purse Hard to imagine the number of beads! Small white seed beads that are accented with small seed pearls as well as Rhinestones. Each rhinestone is circled by a layer of tiny silver beads that really make the rhinestones pop. On the other side of the purse. There are larger pearls that are circled with the layer of silver glass beads. Marked"Hand Made In Belgium" on inside pocket. White silk lining with a pocket. Zippered closure Measures 7 ¼” wide by 4 ½” tall CONDITION: I would say Very good vintage condition– not perfect. But remarkably intact.
