This is a very rare set of antique sterling silver and carved light green jade stone rosary prayer beads. it's very ornate and done with an abundance of intricate detailing. the crucifix is very large. Very detailed, and made from sterling silver. the sacred heart medallion is also made from sterling and is very ornate. it has very large beads which are hand carved from solid light green jade stones and are very dense. they have a lovely polished finish and are two different sizes. the beads are connected with sterling chain links. it has acquired a wonderful patina from age and measures 23 inches long. it is overall in nice antique condition. Is has a couple dings on the cross as shown in photos. it is also missing a couple beads but displays very well. Up for auction is a antique sterling silver Catholic rosary case. With the design by M. Jampolksy. The top of the case depicts Mother Mary and baby Jesus with the inscription of“Mater Dei Ora Pro Nobis” This is a beautiful piece and is hallmarked. The hallmark is very very small and hard to make out but I will do my best(had to use a jeweler loop and it was still hard to fully make out) The hall mark is a square, the top says Metal and the second word below it starts with what I belive is a G. Then below that are three symbols, the first looks like a stick figure deer followed by an upside down bell and then the letter“C” with an apostrophe. So it doesn’t say its sterling silver. Some really interesting pieces and this lot includes the following: A beautiful sterling silver pendant/medallion depicting Mary. It measures 1 1/8 height x 1/2 wide and weighs.3oz. On the back it is marked"925" 8 MC" which means it was made between 1944-1968 in the province of Macerata. It is also marked"Italy" Sterling" and is signed on the bottom. I can't read the artist's name. But is evident it is signed. The detail and hand grave etching in this piece is very impressive A blue crystal rosary that measures 21” long. Cross to Pendant is 6 ½” inches and necklace part is 14 ½” inches. ... moreIt is marked with a“M” with the cross above it. Cut glass rosary. But missing the cross. It measures 14” inches long and it is marked medugorje on the bottom Cut glass bead. Multi color sparkle. It measures 17 ¼” long, cross to pendant is 6” and above the pedant is 11 ¼” inches. It is marked Italy and looks sterling but can’t be sure. Blue square cut class rosary. But missing the cross. It measures 19” and on the back of Mary it is marked with the“M’ with the cross above it. It has 1830 marked on it. But its not of that time age. A cut glass pendant necklace. It is marked Italy and measures 11 ½” long, the back of pendant has a monk with a halo hugging a baby Unique red cut glass rosary. It measures 23 ¾ long and is marked Italy, cross to pendant is 8 ¾ and above pendant is 15” inches long. It has the“M’ with the cross above it as well. It is lined with the references. A cut glass rosary the bottom is disconnected from the necklace but an easy fix. It measures 22 ½” long. Cross to pendant is 7” and above pendant is 16” inches. A beautiful Creed vintage AB crystal and sterling silver rosary that is 22.5" long with a 6" drop. A 33" circumference, and weighs 54.431 grams. The 2" long by 1-1/8" wide cross is stamped Sterling Creed on the back. The central medallion, a bas relief of Mary, is 1" long. Joseph is on the obverse and it is also stamped Creed Sterling. The aurora borealis beads are full of beautiful colors! The round mater beads are 7mm and the oblong pater beads cased in silver filigree are 7mm x 10mm(approx. 3/8" This unusually beautiful rosary is entirely made of sterling silver and crystal. Truly vintage from 1955. It was a gift to me when I was a child from an Aunt who vacationed in Mexico every year. Handmade in Mexico. I would describe this rosary as being delicate. Cross is 1" long and rosary from end to end is 15 1/2" long. Vintage Sterling Silver Rosary Green Glass Beads 925 Roma Italy This is a beautiful vintage sterling silver rosary with faceted green glass beads and a crucifix at the end. The center medallion has a picture of Jesus on one side. And the Madonna with Child on the reverse. The back of the cross is engraved with“Roma” and“925 Italy” The cross is about 2 ¼” long and 1 ¼” wide. The cross is highly detailed and the beads are fully faceted. This beautiful vintage rosary is about 26” long. It is in excellent condition. With vintage tarnish and some minor wear.
