Good condition vintage unsigned pearl and glass beaded purse found at estate sale. There doesn't seem to be any beads missing. The lining inside has some marks. Might be satin lining with pocket inside. Covered with milky white glass beads, seed pearls and clear glass beads with silvery gray inside. Purse measures about 5 1/4" wide by 4" long with clasp. Silvertone clasp and chain with patterned metal frame have some loss of finish which can be seen in pictures. Chain is about 8" long and is attached to separate sides of metal frame. This is a beautiful dangle hearts charm bracelet in a gorgeous topaz color with white colored beads. The beads were imitation pearl beads and it looks like the coating that went over the beads is worn off as you can see in some of the photos. You could easily scrape the remaining coating off the other beads and it would all look uniform and crisp in color. There are 2 sets of dangle heart topaz colored glass charms. I do not believe they are plastic as this holds a little bit of weight. The gold link chain is quite intricate as well with golden textured links throughout. Great little vintage purse was made in Japan. And consists of alternating rows of pearly off-white round beads and silver glass tubes. Surprisingly substantial for the small size. The handle is beaded, as well. This purse does have some condition issues. Making it a great candidate for restoration or re-purposing. There are a LOT of wonderful old beads here. Not so bad that it can't still be used as-is, though. There are a couple of spots where beads are missing. The most notable along the top edge where about 1 1/4" is missing. There is also a spot on one edge missing a couple of beads, and on the other that is missing one. One flat side is missing a bead, shown in photo. Inside is lined in ivory satin. With evidence of use, but no tears. Zipper closure, with pull that looks like it may have been beaded at one time, but is only ... morefabric now. This is such a dainty Vintage clutch bag with tiny pearl beading covering the entire surface of the clutch. There are six marquise shape red rhinestones prong-mounted which are framed with oval pearl beading. They beautiful red rhinestones"pop" against the beige faux pearls. The back side of the clutch bag is covered with dainty pearls with a frame of elongated pearls framing the top band of the bag. The top of the bag has a zipper closure which opens to reveal a satin interior. The interior lining does have a few tiny spots from previous use. There is no tag informing of the origin of this bag. But I do think it is circa 1940's. The zipper opens and closes ... moreeasily. SIZE: This is a dainty Vintage clutch bag measuring approximately 8-1/4" wide and stands approximately 4-1/4" tall. There are some surface scratches and some small fleabites and small chips to the edge of the jet black glass beads and the beveled glass on the back of the locket looks scratched in a few spots. Enamel is in great condition.marked 14k gold. PIECE is beautifully decorated featuring a lovely 14k solid yellow gold chain that is set with approx 20 black jet glass beads. The lovely necklace is set with a large 14k gold locket that is wonderfully painted ... morealong the front with a vibrant shade of black enamel. The front of the locket is set with a lovely colorful whole pearl which is set into a fancy white gold crown style setting. The pearl measures approx 1/4" in diameter. The back of the locket is set with beveled glass so that you can see the contents of the locket. Right now there is nothing in the locket; but one could put braided hair or a photo. This is a lovely antique mourning piece! In super great condition. Circa 1880-1910.
