MURANO CUBE MURRINA ROSARY This is a new addition to our Murano Glass rosary collection. The beads of this rosary are 5mm cube cut Murrinas. Just like their tradition round counterparts. These beads originate from multicolored glass canes that are bundled together, then heated. Once the cane has the desired pattern it is sliced and carefully polished to form the individual beads, and no two are alike. The scans show some beads from a front view. With the unmistakable"flower" pattern of the murrina; whereas other beads are shown from a side view, these beads have a multicolored stripes. This combination gives this rosary a particularly special look, achieved only with a cut murrina bead. The rosary measures approx 18” And is shiipped with velour pouch. Good condition(see more description at end of this listing) with some discoloration at the edge opening on the under/ palm side and slightly on finger seams and one thumb. Could possibly clean or wear unnoticed. Very Exquisite. Measures flat across knuckle 3.25" so I'm estimating size 6.5" or small. The gloves measure 12.25" from middle finger to edge. Age unknown and sold as-is. But they are definitely vintage. Come with their original vintage plastic retail bag with"Gloves by Superb. MORE DESCRIPTION NOTES: There are no tags so I am guessing at the material. I believe they are cotton. They are very soft and stretch a TINY bit so they may have some ... morenylon. But again I am not sure. If I hold them up to a white piece of paper, they have the same tone. So, I would guess they were once white. The small beads are white if that gives you an idea. The larger beads around the top are darker white with a goldish tone. They are pearlescent not metallic. Both the gloves and larger beads have taken on a vintage color. As as mentioned earlier, there is discoloration(yellow spots) and some wearing dirt on tips of fingers. These vintage gloves are definitely not perfect. But the design is so gorgeous and intricately detailed that they would be gorgeous to wear or display. I have priced them extremely low to make up for their condition. Collar, shoulder and lower sleeve have a black, white and silver mirco bead design with pearls and rhinestone accents. The entire sweater is covered in sequins. Pearl buttons.
