This is a handmade rosary made with beads and parts from 3 broken or incomplete vintage rosaries. All wire links are new and handmade(by me) Chain is also new. The links are made with 22 gauge color coated copper craft wire. The beads are vintage white Czech silk glass(rice beads) and are approx. 8 x 5 mm in size. Some beads were missing. So I matched them with new genuine mother of pearl beads as the Our Father beads and capped them with vintage silvertone plated"flower" bead caps(from a broken vintage rosary) The bead caps are not attracted to a magnet(always a good thing) They are most likely silvertone plated brass, but I can not say for sure. The caps are in very good condition. A note about the crucifix and center ~ these parts came to me attached to one of the vintage rosaries that needed repair. But the age the parts did not see(to me anyway) to match the age of the vintage beads on that particular rosary. I suspect someone replaced the original vintage parts with different parts. The parts are not new, but I am not sure"vintage" is the right word for them. I thought they looked very nice with the white beads though. They are good quality silvertone plated parts with nice detail. There is only very slight wear to the back of the crucifix. Please see photo provided. The rosary measures just over 22-1/2" when stretched out and measured end-to-end. The crucifix is 2" long. For added security and beauty I have connected the crucifix. 14K YELLOW GOLD FABULOUS BEADED BLUE QUARTZ WHITE BIWA STICK PEARL NECKLACE-18" This necklace is beautiful! The necklace is strung on black cord with alternating glistening. White stick pearls(may or may not be genuine biwa pearls) blue(jade/agate/quartz? stone beads, and black/green faceted glass beads. The genuine freshwater pearls measure about 12-16mm long and 3-6mm thick, very irregular in size. The necklace was represented as blue jade, but probably dyed agate or quartz, but a gorgeous aqua blue color and measure about 8mm! The faceted glass beads shimmer much like polished abalone shell and measure about 7mm. Gorgeous heavy necklace weighing about 57 grams, almost 2 ounces, and 18" long. The round, fluted ball clasp is stamped PJS for the maker, and(14k) 585 for guaranteed gold quality. The clasp works well with only a tiny ... moreding in the fluted edge, and overall, the necklace is very clean. The pearls were pre-drilled with holes for different applications, so there are extra unused holes on the sides of the pearls. There is a pearl with 3 extra drill holes, and 2 other pearls with chipped nacre. One chip is hard to find, and the larger chip is towards the back and would lay on the back of the shoulder when wearing(can always flip the pearl upside down with the chip down) Of course, there are a few natural pearl imperfections that make them so unique! I did not find any chips in the stone or glass beads. This is a very nice unique necklace and very wearable! Guaranteed to be real gold and genuine pearls. This is an amazing price! Beaded pearls all over the mid section overlaying a floral design, and a backless look with strings of pearls falling vertically. Because my mannequin is backless, it shows the pearls appearing loose fitting. On a full size torso the pearls will tighten across the back. There is also a large and gorgeous over sized puffy flower on the backside. Positioned off to the left hip side.
