This is a nice vintage beaded faux pearl collar or necklace. Probably from the 1950's. It has 4 rows of small beads and 1 row of large beads with smaller beads woven around them. The beads(pearls) are a light cream taupe color- slightly darker than what it looks like in the picture. It has a satin cloth backing and a label that says Glentex made in Japan. Has an hook and eye to close it. The neck circumference is 15" I found this at an estate sale. It is in very good vintage condition. It is nicely made and has some weight to it. You're bidding on a very nice Marvella Simulated Pearl Beaded Necklace. It's 31 inches long and the beads are 13 mm. There are a few gold tone accent beads. It's signed Marvella on the hangtag. I've included two pairs of clip on earrings. The largest pair has pearls and aurora borealis crystals. These aren't signed and they measure one inch across. The next pair is signed Marvella and they have tiny seed pearls acented with tiny clear rhinestones. They measure 7/8 inch across. The condition is very good. There are no pearls or stones missing. I have no history on this except I saved it from my mother about 15 years ago so she wouldn't cut it up for a art project. It has the large oval faux pearls and 2 sizes smaller faux pearls and some faceted small beads. It has a LOT of pearls and beads. So I didn't not spend the hours it would take for me to try to count every bead and faux pearl that might be missing. In the picture you will see where on the end of the big strands there are 3 small loops of small beads with a faux pearl on the end. There are 7 strands of those missing. I could not tell exactly how many pearls are missing because someone has moved them around. It is very busy. And you really have to get your nose down to it to see where ... moreit needs to be put back to match the other side.
