Up for your consideration is one gorgeous vintage 80's heavily glass beaded. Sequined and seed pearl beaded blouse done in a pale pink. I am unable to locate any label to indicate manufacturer or size, so please be sure to verify your measurements against those posted below for fit accuracy. This glamorous blouse is pale pink(presumably silk) v-neckline, short sleeve with"jagged" sleeve edges and jagged hemline, see photos. Krewe of Muses beaded pocketbook/purse is made of faux pearl beads with a large M created with Royal blue beads in the center of the purse. It is in it's original bag which I ripped open to make sure the strap was in tact- and it is! This snare drum was played moderately(not heavy use) There are some rough/scratchy spots and a couple of scratches-please see pictures as I tried to zoom in so they could be seen. The bottom clear drum head is the original and has some surface marks and slight impression of the snare wire on it. I could not get this to show up very well in the pictures. He couldn't remember if the top white drum head is the original. It is smooth in the center area where it was played. As you go out toward the edges you can feel the coating. With hand stitched pink pearls, glass bugle beads and metallic bullion work motifs- beautiful! The silk chiffon of the skirt is in excellent condition with no fragility, marks or damage. The beadwork is quite stunning- I have never seen another like it, with amazing bullion work motifs, pink pearls and glass bugle beads. There is very little bead loss, but some of the pearls need re-attaching. If you decided to use the skirt panels for another project you could use the beads from the bodice to make any repairs. Each skirt panel is 78cm wide and 35cm tall(where it is attached at the waist) It is heavily beaded to a depth of 15cm with pearls and beadwork running up each side of the slit- the rest of the silk chiffon is dotted with tiny glass beads. Some measurements of the tunic as it is: shoulder to shoulder 35cm, underarm to underarm 48cm waist approx. 34cm, length 77cm. EXQUISITE vintage 40's-50's evening handbag/purse made with hand-beaded white seed pearls. Perfect for a wedding too! Measures 10x 7 inches. Authentic Roaring 1920's Flapper Dress Size is approx. a Large. It is 53-54" long from shoulder to bottom hem. It is very a creamy ecru color made of chiffon with satin ribbons down the front and a ribbon and pearl design. This item is an estate sale find. I spoke with the great granddaughter of the owner of this dress and she indicated to me that she had photo's of her great grandmother with the garment on. It is in very good condition for it's age. It does need some TLC cleaning. There is some dusty grey coloring on the back side. I think this can be washed out. OFFERED TODAY is a very nice vintage 1950s-60s pastel pink beaded cardigan style crew-neck sweater. In a very hard to find larger size for all the fuller-figured vintage-lovin' gals out there! I was very happy to find this one, which, overall, appears to have been well-cared for. While there are no tags inside, I believe the knit is Orlon, it is still quite soft& smooth, pretty much free of the usual pilling you find on most vintage sweaters. This one has pretty irridescent pink sequins, shiny ... moreglazed greyish-white seed beads, faux pearl beading stitched in squiggly shapes along both sides of the button front. There are eight 3/8" diameter pearlescent plastic buttons which are original, but could always be replaced with dressier ones if desired. Inside is unlined, has ribbed pink ribbon backing along the front edges, a thin net mesh behind the beadwork. As stated. It appears to have been well taken care of.I always recommend having all vintage clothing cleaned before wearing, to freshen& remove any traces of light soil.as shown in close-up, there is a very small, very faint light soil spot on the left front, a couple others scattered, but overall the sweater looks quite clean. The coating on some of the seed beads varies somewhat in color from more whitish to more greyish, inside, the raw edges around the mesh backing have a little typical fray, to be expected.
