Each set consists of 2 iron knobs, 2 stamped iron escutcheons, 1 iron mortise lock with working key, and 1 3-section spindle with 1 setscrew and 1 securing pin. Originally. The knobs, escutcheons, and lock faceplates were copper plated. However, most of the copper has wore off over ... morethe years, leaving the parts with a nice, distressed, finish. The amount of copper plating varies from part to part(see"Group Photos" to compare) All of the locks are reversible and could accommodate either a left or right swing door. Y&T made locks that had bigger spaces between their upper passage latches and lower deadbolt latches than other manufacturers. We have a few strike plates(keeper or receiver plates) that match up just right with the locks. But we would have to modify a few more to ensure that each lock has a matching strike plate. That is why we didn't include one with each set. If you would like a strike plate, you could purchase one from us for $7 each-email us after the auction if you're interested. The oval knobs and escutcheons feature an elegant Neo-Classical style pattern consisting of beads. Acanthus, and seashells. All parts have been cleaned of paint. Jan 29, 1889& June 11, 1889” They back plates are copper plated over brass. The doorknobs and face plates on the locks are polished brass. The locks are in good. Reusable condition. Comes with one key that is newly made. The key works on all four locks. Also in this lot. Are four(4) strike plates that are copper plated over steel. These are in usable but poor condition and 21 small screws. The back plates measure 7 x 2 ¼ inches. The doorknobs 2 ½ x 1 ½ inches and the mortise lock boxes 3 ½ x 3. It measures 6 1/2" wide. 5" long and stands roughly 1 3/4" tall. The hand painted grapes are perfect. Vintage Black Beaded Bakelite Purse Handbag Oval Very Good Condition
This is a lovely vintage purse in very good condition. There are not any beads missing. The only thing I can find wrong is the mirror on the top has been broken and the glue is left. As you can see from the picture. The size is 7" long x 4" deep x 5" high. The handle is beaded with a twist. The bakelite top is a lovely caramel color and in very good condition. The hardware is brass and the clasp works well.
