One very small area of the beading needs to be re attached to the lid(about 1" there are a couple of tiny snags and the box could use a cleaning. Especially the top. Penn Antique Restoration. Antique Door Lockset Beaded Knobs. Oval Plates, Lock, Key. Although there are 5 sets available. The list price is for 1 set. If the quantity above falls below 5, this indicates that 1 or more sets sold. Wonderful. Antique, interior door sets salvaged from Southeastern Wisconsin. Each set consists of 2 iron knobs, 2 stamped iron escutcheons, 1 iron mortise lock with 1 working key, 1 iron strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 setscrews. Originally, the knobs and plates were brass or copper plated; however, some of the plating wore off over the years leaving the parts with a nice, distressed finish. The amount of plating varies from part to part(see"Group photos" for a visual) The knobs have a circular form and the escutcheons have a lovely. Oval form. Both knobs and escutcheons have beaded ... moretrim. At the point of salvage. Some parts were painted, and all were dirty, and rusty(see last photo) We spent hours removing the paint and carefully cleaning and polishing all parts, trying to preserve as much of the plating as possible. All parts have tiny nicks and light scratches. Which is common for hardware this old. Otherwise. All parts are in great shape with no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or deep scratches. The shank(base) of one of the knobs are slightly loose. If you hold the face of the knob with one hand. And the shank with the other and attempt to turn it; it will turn about 1/32" 1/16" From experience, I know that even if you turn as hard as you could in attempt to completely detach the shank from the knob, you will sooner break the knob than detach the base or cause more looseness. This happens naturally, over time, to some knobs and is not a serious concern. We mentioned it so that you're not surprised and worried when you receive your hardware. We opened. Inspected, and greased each lock to function more smoothly. We also made a key for each lock and we could make more for $6/key-email us after the auction if you are interested. Dimensions: Knobs

Curved outward old convex shaped glass in excellent condition, no scratches, tiny bit chippy on edge in places, that fits into frame from back. Veneer is really nice with maybe a few tiny scuffed spots on edge. All beaded wood lining the oval interior are intact. Great dark and gold"tiger" pattern veneer.

Miniature Brass Picture Frame Antique Vintage Oval Metal Beaded Edge Easel Small
This antique or vintage oval brass picture frame is 2 ¼ inches wide and 3 inches tall. And the viewable area is about 2 ½ inches tall and a little under 2 inches wide. It has a plain design with a beaded edge. And an easel back for standing. The back and glass just push out of the frame for inserting the picture. This is made from brass. Or a metal with a brass finish, I’m not sure which. The glass has quite a few chips around the edge which for the most part are covered by the frame. But there is one at the top that you can see if you are looking for it– see 2 photos with arrows of this one spot. It is more noticeable in the photos than it looks on the actual frame. The metal has a warm aged color that is darkened and somewhat uneven. Overall good vintage condition on this charming little frame. Co. of New Britain, CT sometime during the first half of the previous century. The set includes 2 brass knobs, 1 brass escutcheon with a thumbturn, 1 brass rosette, 1 brass swinging keyhole cover, 1 iron mortise lock with brass faceplate, 1 working key, 1 brass strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 set screws. All brass parts are solid, heavy, thick, cast brass not stamped brass or plated steel. This set features a lovely Colonial style design. All curved plates have beaded borders. The set was salvaged from Northeastern. MN. At the point of salvage, all parts were dirty and unevenly tarnished(see last photo) Since then, we've cleaned and ... morepolished each part to the best of our ability. The set is in great condition considering it's age. The parts have small nicks and scratches. The escutcheon has a shallow dent on the bottom of the plate but nothing serious. Seems like it is in pretty good shape. No chips/cracks to the mirror. There are some light water spots on the mirror that could probably be cleaned up. Beads are in nice shape and are green in color. Real Cherry Red Amber Oval Bakelite Beaded Necklace
Red cherry Bakelite amber prayer beads! I really don't want to part with these amazing beads. The smallest one is 4mm up to the largest center bead is 17 mm. I had gotten them as a gift from my mother, she is a very high end antique dealer and had bought these for me about 10 years ago I'm sorry I don't have a scale to weigh these.
