Each set consists of 2 steel knobs, 2 stamped steel escutcheons, 1 steel mortise lock with 1 working key, 1 steel strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 steel spindle with 2 setscrews to connect the knobs. The set consists of 2 brass knobs, 2 brass escutcheons, 1 iron mortise lock with brass faceplate, 2 working keys, 1 brass strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 setscrews. All brass parts are solid, brass, not plated steel. The knobs and escutcheons have lovely oval forms. Embellished with bold, beaded borders. The set was found with a beautiful patina. Which we didn't want to disturb. However, if you like you hardware bright and shiny, we could clean and polish the set for an additional charge of $30- email us after the auction. Each set consists of 2 iron knobs, 2 stamped iron escutcheons, 1 iron mortise lock with working key, and 1 3-section spindle with 1 setscrew and 1 securing pin. Originally. The knobs, escutcheons, and lock faceplates were copper plated. However, most of the copper has wore off over ... morethe years, leaving the parts with a nice, distressed, finish. The amount of copper plating varies from part to part(see"Group Photos" to compare) All of the locks are reversible and could accommodate either a left or right swing door. Y&T made locks that had bigger spaces between their upper passage latches and lower deadbolt latches than other manufacturers. We have a few strike plates(keeper or receiver plates) that match up just right with the locks. But we would have to modify a few more to ensure that each lock has a matching strike plate. For sale is an extra long vanity tray Maker: Imperial Glass. 1930-1940's Measures: 15.25" long. 9"wide Beaded candlewick design around the edge of the tray with larger beads at the edges for handling use. This is a very heavy piece of glass. As with all vintage glassware. There are waves, bubbles, and glass crease lines and scratches on the glass. If previously used as a perfume tray, the scratches were probably the result of sliding items on the face of the tray. There is also a rough spot(flea bite) on the inside of the rim. This too can to attributed to sliding around of items. No chips, cracks. I have not seen a vanity tray this large in a really long time. Usually you only see those in the 9" length. The 2 piece set is known as"Hens On Nest" The iridescent gold glass has beautful pink. Purples, blue and green highlights. It has a beaded edge and is not marked. Size: 7"w X 5 1/2"d X 5 1/4"h- approx. dimensions Quantity: 1- Hens On Nest Condition: VERY GOOD- it shows minimal wear(5% and the only issue I can see is a bit of a mystery. There is a section on the innermost lip of the"nest" that appears to a rough mold line or straw mark that is finished over. There is a roughness when I run my finger over it but I am pretty sure it's a factory flaw- see photos although it was tough to capture. The affected area measures approximately ... more2 1/2" There are the usual pin dot bubbles. Straw and uneven mold marks- manufacturer flaws. It's still a great piece to use and display. It is an oval about 6+ inches x 8+ inches + the bottom fringe of about 2" the clasp works good& is silver color, the interior is blue satin/silk and pretty good, I saw one split + definite some missing fabric on the frame, interior has a round mirror, the handle strap needs some repair to the missing beads, I think one of the fringe has a broken string& missing beads, and as far as I can tell the purse oval does not have any missing beads, I think the repair to the fringe would be minor, but the repair to the handle strap would require quite a few beads.
