Rare antique 800 silver guilloche enamel genuine mother of pearl rosary
This auction is for one of the best rosaries I've ever had. Done in 800 silver with white enamel with genuine mother of pearl beads and all the fittings are in silver as well. It is in excellent condition although it could use polishing on the silver parts. But the enamel is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It is marked on the back Roma. 800, and 284m in a cartouche if I am reading that correct, it is very tiny. But it does look like the nails going through Jesus' hands might be gold so possibly this is a gold mark. The crucifix is just over 1 1/2" The entire rosary when held up basically in half, is 21" with the beads coming down to the crucifix. The mother of pearl beads are beautiful as well. I photographed it on white and black backgrounds for your viewing pleasure. Thanks for looking.

RARE 19THc Mother of Pearl Silver ROSARY BIG Beads Carved Cross LOT AS FOUND
I acquired several religious items- rosaries. Medals, etc. out of a local estate a few months ago. I will be listing them over the next month. This interesting lot is being sold as I found it- all pieces were in a box marked mother of pearl rosaries. Please read the description carefully. High bidder will get everything shown- there is an INCOMPLETE heavy 37 1/2" long Victorian MOP rosary(also called a French or Colonial rosary) with round beads ranging from 10mm-11mm. The beads are encased in silver filigree- I have not tested the purity of the metal. It could very well be sterling silver- all links are soldered shut. The 5 bead strand(antiphon beads)coming down from the medallion is missing, as is the cross. High bidder also gets 2 carved MOP Crosses- 1 large measuring3" X 1 3/4" and one small cross that is 1 1/4" long. ... moreFinally, there are 2 more mop rosaries- both from the 1920s and complete. One, which is marked Jerusalem on the back of the cross, measures 19 1/2" long, has barrel-shaped beads and a cross that is metal and plastic. The other is 17 3/4" long, with no marks on the back of the heart-shaped medal or cross. CONDITION- no chipped or cracked beads, crosses are intact with no cracks or chipped edges. Metal crosses have tarnish and discoloration. Beads look dirty in my photos- they are not- they really glow when the light hits them. Overall, condition is excellent! 21 1/4" Vintage Catholic Rosary Mother of Pearl Beads
Catholic Rosary 1 This feminine rosary is crafted from luminous mother of pearl beads and silver metal components. The beads are hand cut which explains the variations in size and shape. Surrounding the larger Pater beads are sections of twisted oval links. The center medal features a profile of Our Lady on one side and the Grotto Apparition on the verso. The budded crucifix has devotional images with blue colored enamel ornamentation. The images include Mary with head bowed and hands clasped in prayer. Our Lady and St. Bernadette, Lourdes Basilica and head profile of Our Lady. A nicely molded corpus is set on the cross. Reverse center of the crucifix is incised"S IR de Lourdes(Souvenir of Lourdes) When fully extended the rosary is about 15 1/2" long. Comes boxed and ready for giving.
