Here is a fabulous authentic circa 1940’s micro beaded purse. it is very sculptural and is shaped like a round box with the lid having a raised up detailed large flower design. the body is done with kind of beaded ruffles or pleats all around it. Inside is lined in plum satin. This purse really sparkles and is done in micro glass beads that are iridescent-all colors of the rainbow are here. Itis 6 1/2” high. And about 7” in diameter. A beautiful black wire basket trimmed with red beads and 7. Cranberry colored iridescent glass balls that are actually"hangable" with brass tone loops inserted. I left them out in my corner baker's rack all year long because even though you can hang them on a Christmas tree. They are not pure red and look just lovely as a centerpiece! They have a rainbow effect and are gorgeous. I paid good money for each one of these balls at Pier One almost 10 years ago. So they would be a lot more now. This outstanding Art Nouveau beaded purse.Offering distinct features not found on other purses. The glass beads are fabulous and their depth of color and tone are displaying beautifully and cannot be fully captured in these photos. These are radiant glass beads of purple black and hint of green creating and an iridescent effect and each bead seems slightly different having it's own individual effect on this purse. They are hand knit and threading in vertical rows of alternating swags and fringes. The exterior of these beads are crystal and reflect a good amount of light, resulting in a shimmering piece of art. The variegated shades of purple and black are emitted from the exterior of the beads. This purse a very special antique handbag. The beadwork and threading are in marvelous condition. This purse is crowned with a very unique and ... morerare design silver plated Art Nouveau design frame. These are very elusive frames and are discovered infrequently, as once they find their way into a collection, they are not seen again. As is the case with this purse. I have not seen the metal frame style. All aspects of the metal are in a cut out pattern, hinges are good and the purse closes with a gentle snap. The original lining was gone so I chose a black satin. It measures 7 1/4 inches from the top of the clasp to the bottom, 6 inches wide at the bottom, 5 1/4 inches wide at the top of the frame, 4 7/8 inches across the hinges and the carry chain handle drops the purse by 14 1/2 inches. Hand made in early forties by my mom. Each bead was sewn meticulously in place. In those days there was no plastic craft material around so her base, unfortunately is heavy cardboard. It is now a little wilted on one side(see rumple in photo) and I had planned to re-structure it with crafters sheet vinyl; however I never got around to it, and hope that someone will want to give this lovely bag a home. Its got plenty of years left. Height: 7" bottom to top arch x 7"w x 3.5"d Strap drop from side to side: 14" Zipper has a beaded fob pull. Black satin lining. There are a few beads missing. Has three very minor darker discolorations probably from food grease barely noticeable couldn't catch on film even with flash. Both used last holiday. I have other items for sale. 1980s PASCALE MADONNA silk iridescent beaded ecru bustier, XS, made in France
Mais oui. This is a french bustier from the 1980s in a size 32-A that has bones inside to maintain its integrity and a layer of very thin material covered with iridescent beading on top and on the straps that is oh la la magnifique! Lying flat, the waist is 22" un-stretched and comfortably stretches to 26" on a normal fit: The bust is 32" when also comfortably stretched and closed with eye-hooks in the back. Each strap is 17.5" in length and anchored firmly to the front and back. If it fit me, I'd wear it all the time… a very pretty and sexy bustier, purchased"used" and sold'as is. There are evident or obvious wear- or age-related damages, and all of the beading appears intact.

This is the prettiest string bead curtain by Zappo. But I had a heck of a time trying to get a good photo of it and the pictures are dismal. In person, it's gorgeous! Also large at 72" long by 35" wide at the top. Weighs about 2 pounds before packaging. There's 45 strings of teardrop beads that are iridescent with a beautiful patterned design to the beads that I think I was able to capture via photographs. This is a fresh estate sale find. The former owner attached a long shoestring to the top to hang it, but there are two metal circular hangers built into the black bar that also has the Zappo badge. I find no issues, missing beads or other concerns with this item, but it is being sold AS IS/FOUND. I cannot guarantee it came from a smoke or pet free home or that it wasn't sent into outer space and came back with cosmic ... moredebris on it.
